Do you use the cooler during the run or take it off before you run?

Thanks!

You run the cooler before you bolt it up in the car.

How cold does it get? Would putting it in a frig or useing canned air be the same?

On my tests this week the Much More cooler took a motor that was about 71 deg down to 38 deg near the vent holes. On various parts of the can it went around 42 to 45 deg. That was after an hour of running. What I noticed was that after about 20 minutes the can dipped into the high 40's

Canned air is only a surface hit as far as temp goes.. the cooler a gets the magnets cold down deep when left on long enough... frige will work but who can carry one with them...lol

When racing out doors we use to take a motor and double zip lock it, one bag inside another and drop it in a cooler... does the same thing but not as cold and you do get a small amount of condensation in side the motor and too much obn the com can cause problems......

As far as how cold i have seen them freeze up the fins on the cooler.....
