For those of you that own the book Johnnie Clark published, check out this recent auction:

[url]http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6023421267&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1[url]

If it's easier to look up, here's the item number: 6023421267

My book is in a 9 condition & he signed it for me. That makes mine worth at least a $1000! LOL

I'm glad John didn't charge that much for them! I wouldn't be able to afford the cars to go with it.

YOWZA. I have one of them. Got it for 20 bucks about 3 or 4 years ago at a Lionel train store in Gettysburg. I had no idea. I thought these were still readily available...

And yes, I need to get some of the SuperModifieds. If he is going to be at the Feb show, I will get them there. If not I will order some.

Fordcowboy, The one I sold you for $20.00 at the November Midwest Show was a good deal. I recieved your PM. I don't regret the sale one bit. Randy. :)

Is "Johnnie Clark" actually the author Jack Clark of Hotwheels and GI Joe fame?

Or is this author another individual altogether.....

I knew "jack" (probably not his real name anyway) like old slot cars too....
