The track has been updated this year with new CRC Fast Track2 carpet. As mentioned the run-line is 135' , lanes are 11' wide . Drivers stand is elevated about 6'.

On site hobby shop with a good supply of oval parts, food also available at the track.
Hotels and restaurants about 5 to 10 minutes away. Hooters about 12min.

Traction Compound any Non wintergreen formula. TQ, Jack the Gripper and Niftech are popular.

I'm looking for how tight the turns are.

Hi guys I’m heading out the door for a club show at Allen’s tonight. I’ll re-measure the track dimensions and post them late tonight. I also have about 10 more entry’s to add. Keep em coming

Is allens only big enough to hold 60 racers??? Im not sure if we would hit 60 but the way it is growing now i wouldnt be surprised..

Moparfreak
12-21-2005, 06:47 PM
Burbs, Allens has room for 60 racers for sure. I think they had 54 entries a few weeks ago and still had pit spaces left. It might be tight with 60 people but he does have room.

Looks to be shaping up to be a pretty good race. Dang it, I might have to buy a brushless now.

davz, the track is not to tight, Sonny will post later but I would bet the infield is 10-12 ft wide. But you will want to run almost wall to wall.

Track measurements 68 x 35
135' race line
Corners 13' 6" wide
Straits 11' wide about 50' long

We have 60 pits spots available in the track area. The first 60 pre entry’s are guaranteed a pit. We may have additional pit room (heated) in another building about 20 feet from the track area. Should no more next week.

Warm up race is Saturday January 28th more info on this coming soon.

Thanks for the offer Burbs. It's more of a total space issue. I think the other building for overflow may work out. Should know for sure next week.

Good News just talked with Allen, looks like we have room for another 30 racers.

As stated before the first 60 entry’s can pit in the main building the other 30 will have to pit in the adjacent building about 20 feet away. It has heat, power, tables and chairs. (Allen’s original track was in this building a few years ago.) We also plan to run a speaker to the building to make it easy to keep up with the race action.

Talked with a lot of people in the last few days who are pretty excited about this race. It should be and awesome show. Thanks for being a part of it.
