We are very pleased to announce that Redneck RC in conjunction with Dennis and Carol Klein of Klein R/C Motorsports are officially releasing to the public the 2006 Klein Electric Midget Car! Redneck RC will be the exclusive New York State Dealer for Klein R/C Motorsports Products and will be selling the first 20 Klein Midgets in the United States. As most of you know Dennis has worked hard over the years to produce the highest quality, best made and best looking custom built sprinters in the country and have now teamed up with Redneck RC to release their '06 Midget. The '06 Midgets will have the same high quality craftsmanship that you are accustom to from Klein R/C Motorsports with their Sprint Cars. The '06 Midget, that will be called the "Dust Devil", will be a complete rolling chassis to include: chassis, body, transmission with bearings, arms, hinge pins, turnbuckles, CVD's, servo mounts and other various parts. All you will need to finish this kit are: 19 turn motor, gear of your choice, electronics and a set of tires and wheels.

The first 10 "Dust Devils" are currently in production and we should have them in stock before the end of the year. The '06 Midgets are available in custom powder coated cage colors (black, white, blue, red, yellow, orange, silver and purple) and anodized plate colors (natural, black, red and blue). We have already sold the first 5 with many more individuals interested in purchasing the first Klein Midgets. We will have one in stock to show and wheel around the track early next week. The Midgets will make an excellent addition to the world of R/C racing, both dirt and asphalt, and will be fun and exciting to both watch and drive. The cars will be selling fast so please let us know if you are interested in purchasing one of these works of art!

We would also like to announce that it is both an honor and privilege that the First Inaugural Klein Midget Race will be held at Redneck RC Raceway. We are just putting the final touches on the race format and details. We will post it as soon as we can. We are also looking into some dates to hold the event, if anyone has suggestions on dates please feel free to let us know. It will certainly be a special event for us and many other classes will be included.

I have talked briefly with Paul Brauer of the WDRA (World Dirt Racing Association) and it is our hope to have the Midgets as one of the cornerstone classes of the WDRA series. These cars will make an excellent addition to the WDRA series events. With both speed and driving skill required to get the maximum out of these cars... I can't think of a better, more skilled group of R/C drivers anywhere than the WDRA drivers to handle them.

It is an exciting time right now with the increased growth and interest of R/C Dirt Oval Racing and the 06' Klein Midgets will be a big part of it for years to come. I would like to sincerely thank Dennis and Carol for this opportunity and we look forward to many years of continued success with Klein R/C Motorsports and to the development of new products all the time.

Now.... Let's get them on the track and let us see who has all the bragging right!!!

I will be posting pics the moment I have the first one in my hands. Klein has some on their website at the bottom of their home page www.kleinrcmotorsports.com. I will be taking more detailed pics than what they have but at least it gives you an idea. I should have one in the next couple of days.

Thanks

are they as fast as 1/10 edm's... or faster?

they look lighter.

i'm from up north "carpet country" i havn't seen them race but i wanna get one, running one on the carpet would be like the fullsize midgets on asphalt, i think it would be cool.

I have yet to see one go. Right now the EDMs are the fastest thing on the track

i thought for sure the sprint cars would have been the fastest... with the wing n all.

what motor rules do you run in the edm & the sprints?

ovalnator

sprint cars - 19turns or stock motors, 6 cell 4200 max, no lipos

EDM stock...any 2 magnet stock motor...many guys are running the roar stock (gold can), the monster handout (chrome can), the monster stock (teal can) and the new CO27 stock (Blue can)

Redneck RC does not still have one of these cars, however I believe there is still a new cage for one of the Midgets that Klein made laying around somewhere.

And an FYI for anyone who may be wondering, Art left the company 2 years ago, and Klein is out of business. We do however have many of the suspension components for these cars if anyone needs anything.
