There Is Someone On Epay Stating That Tru Announced They Will No Longer Be Offering Tru Ertl Exclusives. Tru Is Stopping??? Or Is He Stating This To Make What He Is Selling Seem More Valuable? Does Anyone Know The Truth Or Is This Fact??

Sadly to say, but yes, the days of the $19.99 Ertl tru exclusives are about over. TRu has taken all the stock that they want, the rest is being offered to Ertl dealers. Maybe, someone might come across the 69 Shelby GT-500 Chase in jade green  <this color. Hint.
Yup it's true :(

Yup we have started getting in a few limited from TRU. RC2 will be sending us stickers to represent Hobby exclusive instead of TRU one's, but originally that is where they are from.

 Tell me what does that do to the value of the TRU exclusives that exist. At my local TRU last night they had 3 1970 AAR cudas, mach ones, the candy red mustang,53 cady, amx & a superbird. It seems they are making a big change at TRU with diecasts. All the overstock is gone.

Gadzooks N' Egads!!!!

Beings that TRU won't be continuing their Exclusive 1/18 line of ERTL
cars, I'm very happy that I managed to score several of the Chase cars
when I had the chance. The '69 Shelby Mustang has only come up on
E-Bay twice for crazy $$$, and its out of my price range. I don't
remember any of the other Chase cars doing that well on E-Pay . . . or I
may have missed some of the items that were sold . . . There weren't very
many chase cars made in the TRU Exclusives obviously ...... I wish that I
could have found some of the other Ford Chase cars that were also
available . . . Mustang GT . . . MACH I . . . etc . . .
I guess that I'll have to be happy with my Eliminator . . .

A TRU 70 Mustang Grabber Chase car just sold for around $104 ... Never found any chase cars except the 58 Plymouth .
