ROAR's bimonthly newsletter will be going online effective the next
issue. (end of January)

We are looking to change the format, content and overall information
source completely and searching for ideas, offers of assistance,
articles from racers and questions posed to the ROAR Committee Staff.

Class committee chairpersons are being asked to write an article
discussing their committee work and suggestions they have been given
along with listing their committee members for all the membership to
be informed as to who to talk to about their ideas.

Region Directors, as always, are being asked to submit information
regarding their regions racing events and contact people for entry
forms.

RevUp ONLINE! would like to publish articles from ROAR affiliated
tracks showing off the talents of their facility and their local hot
shots.

As always, national venue entry forms will be available for download
and regional racing events should be available per region should the
region director place the information in their space they have been
given access.

The RevUp has been available on the website, http://www.roarracing.com (http://www.roarracing.com/)
for several months now and the new versions will have larger font and
we will increase the ease of downloading page by page.

Please, if you have any suggestions or a desire to contribute to
ROAR's newsletter, contact RevUp@cox.net.

Dawn,

Rev up online is a great idea. You are commended on your dedication to ROAR and your excellent communications with us racers.

Tomorrow is Feb 1, 2006. A large number of bodies have expired on Dec 31, 2005. There seems to be bodies that have been approved that are taking a long time to be put on the list. ROAR sanctioned events are rapidly approaching. When will the body approval list be updated to include the newly approved bodies? This question has been asked before by others and I know that it is not your department but you seem to be the one person that can find out these kind of questions. Thanks

OH man.. wish I could answer that question. But, I think I can fill enough space here to have you think I did... LOL

In the RevUP ONLINE! - there is a letter from Bob Ingersoll written to the body companies stating that many, many of the bodies that were approved three years ago are now in risk of being removed from teh approval list. (we have a three year approval rule) Those companies were asked to resubmit those bodies and they will be reinstated. So basically, any body on there with a date expiration of December 31 will be removed or should be removed and are not legal. (although, I'm sure grace period is in place since that letter didn't go out until January 15th. Its a loosely enforced rule at this point)

The body companies will be sending in those bodies they want to remain on the list - without paying the fee.

As for bodies that have been sent in recently, (yes Rob.. I'm still working on it!! :) ) that list should be generated very soon.

I will check with Bob to get an exact time to expect that list.

So if there is to be no fee for re-submitting bodies I should be in for a refund then, correct. Unless your going to go under the fact that the manufacture has changed. The current Windtunnel bodies were all bodies that just expired 12/31/05.

Bill, don't know. Kenny designed that and sent to me one evening about a month ago when I was workign on the layout of this RevUP. I threw it in there on two different pages one, to see if people noticed and two, to see if people liked it. I sure do.....

I think its something we need to work on an continue to use to represent both US and Canada as part of our organization.

The previous publication date was the 15th of each even numbered month along with mailing by the 20th. I have attempted to build a new newsletter within 15 days of the article submission deadline but since so many people miss that deadline and well.... life has to continue, work has to continue, I will be unable to meet my lofty goals.

RevUP ONLINE! will be available for download from the website by the 15th of each even numbered month which is 30 days after the article submission deadline for that issue.

sorry for any inconveniences....

Thank you!! RevUP ONLINE is no easy task getting out and I truly regret when I can't meet deadlines.. I know you guys depend on it.

As for the nomination ballot, I need to make a change... Canada is up for re election as well and I neglected to put that on the form.

And... please.... anybody out there interested in doing more with ROAR, the VP position will be open and YOUR ideas are necessary! :)
