The extent of my like/dislike boils down to how easily I can open the blister pack. In the case of Matchboxes new one, I like it.

Well said! The card design doesn't matter to me as I have yet to find one I couldn't open.

When I think about all the other cards I've seen for diecast cars, this new card design probably has to rate among those in the lowest 10 - 20%.
It might have rated a little better if they hadn't left such a big blank gap between where the blister is located and where the illustration of the truck is placed.

Yeah I feel about the same way, cept I'd say it's the worst one they've ever done. Not like it matters, I've only ever bought one MB that stayed in the package.

I have several open and in the blister from earlier releases, but will probably open more of these cards for the aforementioned reasons.

the first(i think) VW Microbus. It's got 2-tone blue paint, and a MB 50th anniversary medalion thing on the card. It's buried somwhere, and that's all I remember about it right now. I guss technically there's also a SF Ford GT-40 and some "glitter red" Concept 1 Beetle from an old Target promo.

even tho i quit collecting the in 2003 when seems you couldn't find them all,it's easier to see the car name without rummaging thru the pegs

i do like how the car name is displayed for easier peg hunting, but thats about it. I've beome more of an opener in the last few months, so it doesnt matter as much to me anymore

That's true! And they stack very well for storage. I usually pull my cars out of the package but haven't done so with these...yet.
