Hello all
First off, I would like to send a Season's Greatings to all on this board. You guys are great for all the info one gets from it. I am sure that reguadless of how long you have been involved in this hobby, one can always pick some new bits of information be used at some point in time. I have been feeling rather sick over the last week and this is the first time in the last few days I have felt like getting on to the computer.
The main body of the message is about making scale buuildings for your cars. I have noted that (anyone can correct me if I am wrong) that a lot of the building I have seen in scenes are HO scale (1/87th scale) while the cars are 1/64th scale. Although the effect looks very nice, it would be nice to see a properly scaled out building for the cars. In saying this, I have two house cad drawing programs that can be used to create models for your cars. The thing about these programs is one can build any style of building within the limits of each of these drawing programs. The name of the programs are "Punch 5 in 1" and "Punch, Pro". The 5 in 1 program is a very simple program that allows very simple building designs while the later allows a more complex design work. The key to the model making side is a feature called "Punch, RealModel". This allows you to print out all the panals needed build the model. I have used this to build a 1/24th scale house and I have done some picture taking with it. It looks very nice. I will post some pictures a bit later. I really need to get to the hospital to have get looked at.
