H20 pressure 12-17-2005, 04:05 AM Sweet sounds like a winner. You can count me in for 2 classes. I think Spec will be one and the other one , Hmmmm..... :freak: LEGENDS
BMCALLISTER01 12-17-2005, 03:05 PM I'll be there with brushless if we get enough entrys. If we dont then i will run 19t. And definately run spec.
dangerousminds 12-18-2005, 08:31 PM looking foward to making it will you have 4cell stock or is that what you call spec
BMCALLISTER01 12-18-2005, 10:58 PM Spec consist of a trinity 21t spec motor and the trinity 4 cell spec batterys. They might put a stock class together with enough entries.
Kenwood 12-19-2005, 01:08 PM I should be there as long as im not too hung over...LOL... I will be bringing some 19T people...I dont know on brushless yet...
What time are the doors opening that day.. I heard racing @1 but what time for practice before hand...
Rupert 12-20-2005, 12:31 AM Track will open at 8am. There is also a warm up race friday night and open practice on Sat evening.
Kenwood 12-20-2005, 10:40 AM Sweet... I might try to get down there for the friday race as well.. Just have to check schedule...Probably better for me to dial in a car without a hangover...LOL..
Kenwood 12-20-2005, 04:52 PM Have you guys wheeled out the runline of the track?? How many feet approx is the runline??
BMCALLISTER01 12-20-2005, 07:10 PM It was around 120 ft. Since it got shortned, Id say its about 118 ft. Just guessing.
schase427 12-20-2005, 07:44 PM plan on comming from cols ohio.what compound tires will get me in the hunt??19TURN PAN CAR
pit space a problem? do we need chairs or table?? LMN.
LATER SCOTT CHASE
Kenwood 12-20-2005, 08:35 PM Scott>> Your coming down too... He he he.. Last I ran there I just ran the same as I did at WOH... . I left my car in ULTRA( old cincy track) trim and that was about it...The car was very competitive. With you running at platinum normally Id venture to say leave the home track setup on it for starters..... The tracks are similar in terms of infeild size and legnth..
Last time I ran there I was running a Pink rears and pink LF.. And I want to say a Purple orange RF.. I know some guys run white gray combos.. But Ill probably just stick with pink/purp setup... My only issue that time running 19T was that I was picking up the LR when I tried to full throttle the corners.. I solved it by the mains...but its a fun track and a good group of guys..
Look forward to running with ya again..
and I dont think you will need chairs or a table...Pitting was fine and chairs were readily available..
Kenwood(Sean Maxwell)
schase427 12-20-2005, 09:53 PM Thanks Sean. See Ya There

Rupert 12-22-2005, 02:45 AM I haven't rolled the track since we shortend the runline a little to improve the passing area of the turn. But like Brian said it should be in the 118 to 115 foot.
As Sean said the pinks and purples are popular but some guys are also fast with a white gray black combo. BSR is basically the only tires that are ran on the track.
Traction compound is normally only Jack the gripper but for this race we will let folks run any non wintergreen stink.
The track is not pool table smooth but overall it is good.
Pit Tables will not be a problem we can hold 50 or so racers. We do not have 50 chairs. You may want to bring one to be safe. We are working on some food for the day and we are 5 to 10 mins from several Fast food places.
Look forward to racing with you.
Kenwood 12-22-2005, 07:38 AM jack is fine with me....I was running that in cincy when everyone else was running paragon...I started getting faster when I stopped using the paragon...lol...
Rupert 12-27-2005, 12:41 AM Everything is coming together good for this race. Hope to see lots of racers.
Kenwood 12-27-2005, 01:16 PM Slightly off topic but a bump none the less.. This friday>>>the warmup if you will...what time do you guys open??? Im planning to come down and get the car set up...maybe do a little racing if time permits..
Rupert 12-28-2005, 03:16 AM I should be at the track around 3pm. You can begin practice at that time.
The race Friday will start at 7:30. We are usually done by 11:30
schase427 12-28-2005, 02:02 PM open practice sat. what time?????lmk

Kenwood 12-29-2005, 12:01 AM From colombus thats probably a good bet>> Stay away from Motel6...Thats all im saying.. Im shivering even thinking about the lastt trip there..
Luckily Im about 1h 10 min from there...so driving Wont be a problem...most of the drunks are gone by 6 or 7am...and for the record I dont drive drunk..
Last year was rough at classic driving 4 hours on 2 hours sleep>>>at the track for 12 hours and then 4 hours home...UGH..
Rupert 12-29-2005, 12:18 AM Practice will be Sat evening. We have a touring race during the afternoon. We will rap that up at about 5:30 or so and then we will change the track back to an Oval. I will be at the track as long as you want to practice. I will aslo be staying away from the Booze on that night. Did you get a Hotel room yet? They may be crowded with the Holiday weekend. Let me know if you need info I have numbers for a few of them close to the track.
Kenwood 12-29-2005, 12:31 AM HMMM now youve got my wheels turning here... MAybe I shopuld just stay in lexington fri-sun.. ...HMMMMM Id imagine with that much track time I should be good to go on sunday..
