This is one of my all-time favorite slots.
From Atlas--one of the “smaller” slot manufacturer’s, it is a beautiful copy, and my reference’s show it close to the 1/1 car. If Aurora had made it, it would’ve sat too high. If Tyco had done it, it would’ve been too wide.
Atlas never got the credit or the exposure they deserved for such wonderful slot pieces. A shame, because it’s just brilliant.

This was a new/old “kit” I’ve had, but the plastic seam was loose at the bottom of the package, and the head must have rolled out. This was the way I got it.
It’s all original--I just foiled the headlights and the drivers suit, plus painted and picked out the details on the drivers’ mit. The goggles’ detail and the visor button’s were a challenge in themselves.

The head (a perfect duplicate of the original) came from Volvo (Neal, again!)
I’ve posted pics’ of this before, but for those who missed it-- it has a Tyco 440 in the belly, and DC rubber tires.
I only cruise this baby, for fear of breaking off the side pipes, and possibly loosing the drivers glass fairing.
I guess if I did, I might get them from Neal, too!
Thank you Neal, for coming through, once again!
Cheers..
