The hubs and axles are nice stuff, now I don't have to rebuild diffs every time I want to change spurs, or go to offset pod :thumbsup: .

Any idea on return of website. And anyone got any suggestions for Raptor V2 setup on carpet. Right now i got RR/blue RF/OrangeBlue LR/green LF/green. Front springs rf/purple(wolfe) LF/green. Rear Shocks R/red L/blue Center/green TC3. 40wt in center 60wt in sides. Side shocks are level and front i have adjusted for the wheels to be totaly to the left side of chassis and LF leads RF by about 1/8". Rear steer is set so LR is closer to the chassis than right. Car handles very well, but sometimes when i am forced in tight to turn gets loose in a hurry in the middle. Car has ample steering everywhere on the track except for the times i mentioned. What might i do to lessen this effect?

Yeah, flat carpet oval. Not actually spec tires, but the same setup i am using on my spec car, these are Cooper tires(BMS?). I run almost the same setup for tire on my street spec, but the car has push in it and i can run it perfect around the track, my pan car has i believe way too much steering in the middle of the turn, and on the turn in i bvelieve. Just right coming out. I have been toying with the idea of running Blacks and grays, but i have a whole lot of blue, green, and orange/blue tires. I could change up, but monitarily this is what i need to run with(tires). Not looking for a miracle, just some ideas to tighten car up on the middle and turn in. Oh yeah, slide tray is as far back as i can get it.

Thanks guys, i will try setup with tires i have now but with 2 rear greens(sry, but money is an issue here). Most part it is what i am going with except shock holes and springs. I'll change that around and give you all a shout after next race....

Nice, all this talk of flatulants makes me hungry for WHITE CASTLE!!!! I just picked up a whole slew of pinks/double pinks/purple/ and double purples. Maybe try them out next race instead of the green/blu/orange tire selection....

Quick question....
White is 30 duro and pink is 30 duro(Murdock tires) what is the difference between the two?? One have more traction and more wear? Im at a loss....if you didnt realize.....

Whites/Greys/Blacks traction is more consistent from beginning to end as pinks/purples gain traction as the run goes

v3 slider ran strong on carpet last saturday ran times as fast as new ksg and rip cars and would have finished on the same lap but pulled off 4th with a wreck so car was better than i can drive

V3 will show better next outing my V3 slider will get the kinks out with the right side tplate setup

Our "Sportsman Edition" kits should be available very soon. They use the basic center shock and tweak screws. Kit should hit the market with a MSRP of 179.99 to 199.99. Our low cost way to get new folks into oval and still own a competitive car.

I'm rebuilding the website, so within a few weeks, we should have a new look for the new year. And hopefully I can get Rush and Son a new look as well for their website.

We are very busy in the RAPTOR camp, good things will start to come out of here as soon as we can get everything in motion and done.

Been awhile, but i guess its time to update, and thank those that sent PM's with setup help...

I ran the Raptor at my local track with a setup very similar to what was sent to me. First weekend out i ran 3 laps faster, same motor, and the same tires from my last car. Pretty good improvement, but following weekend, didnt do so well, only ran 9 LAPS faster!!! Glad i made the switch, went from being 10+ laps slower than leader, to 2 laps slower(and did even beat him in a heat)!!! Will stay on top of her and let y'all know......

Looking forward to the new website and pics of new car.....
