Brian,

My name is Sam Clark and I am writing to inquire about possible sponsership for R/C racing. I have noticed that you do not have any sponsered drivers in the state of Florida that use BS motors. I currently run 4 cell stock 19 turn and off road stock. I would love the oppourtunity to speak with you regarding any sponsership oppourtunites that you may have.

Sincerely

Sam Clark

uh, sam,
where are you running 19turn at? and what does bs stand for? he he.
guess you are soo good you don't need our help anymore! good we can spend more time on our cars with out the how do's, and howcomes.
you are fast. but fast is not everything. how you treat others is just as important. first a main you got excited and took me and you out, rooky mistake
second a main you knocked me out of the way. wait to pass, don't drive through
makes you look better. faster is not better. you are fun to drive with. you will learn. i hope!
later, willis.

willis just think that you were there once too and it takes time to perfect the skill of driving. but it can only help if you are fast too. thanks for keeping him in line.

Sam I was going to stay out of this, I don't want to be accussed of "venoumos posting "
1> Yes the laps stopped counting at 6 but we were 3 minutes in to a 5 minute main before we realized it. By that time we were strung out pretty good and everyone knew their position.
2> It was getting late , and we have a 90 minute drive home. But thats ok you wanted to run it again and we agreed
3> By the time we got recharged and out on the track it had really changed (cold) We had agreed not to make chassis adjustments. That was ok too
4> You won the second round. I won the first round. Congrats on winning.

Up to this point everything is ok. Then I read your posts here and on other threads.
Sam Willis and I have spent alot of time and effort with you on getting dialed in at Branford. Time and effort that we would spend with anyone who asks. But then you win one race and its Brag to the world and look what I did. Well you need to remember who helped get you there. Besides BS motors.

I'm sure Brian would agree that he wants his drivers to promote not just his products but the sport too. With sponsorship comes duty and responsibility to your sponsor and a proffesional attitude with your fellow drivers. The last part is what you are missing.

Brian If he beats me again I will be calling you for one of those hot motors lol !!!http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon7.gif
See you on the track Samhttp://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon10.gif

wade i would like to agree with you. but i feel the biggest thing is respect on both sides plays a bigger part. you to were a rookie and needed help to get were you are today. i beleave in manners please and thank you go a long ways in my book. i hope that sam thanks you for your help weather he wins or looses. but on the same note think about the first time you beat the local top dog. it is kinda like winning your first big race. in the exsitement you for get the little things.

try to keep him in line for me. lol you all have fun racing and i would love to sell you a good motor.

good racing and have a good day

So the birds came and went. A so-so week. During the first day of practice I ran the second fastest run of the whole week for sportsman 19t. Not to bad I guess. And then there were the heat races. Thats a thing I'd like to not remember. The first 2 heats were hack or be hacked type of passes, not my driving style so I took way more than I should have, I have not idea where my calmness for racing has come lately. So after the first heat I was 51st out of 73, NOT GOOD. Next heat brough me to 6th out of 73 for a few races, where I settled down into 19th, After a shuffle I started on the pole, manza style, I think thats what they call it?. And proceede to set a fast pace, the TQ to this point was 58 4:00, Well we were 2:00 in and I was on a 60 4:01 lap pace, when the accidents happened, or so I was told it was an accident! haha lol, Needless to say the car flipped off the track in one corner, and got stuck in the wall in another. For the main I started 9th in the B-Main and finished there after handeling problems and respect for my equipment.
Brian thanks for the brushes and springs, next year I'm running 4-cell pro mod, 'cuz that class is awesome. Met the silva's and some other people who's stuff I use and made great friends not just part suppliers, all-in-all not a bad weekend!

Next weekend brings up a race at one of my favorite tracks, the cabin fever in fairfield maine, 4-cell 19t pro

Next year can only be better!

Hi Brian,
We had a good weekend of racing, Friday night I took 2nd place in a wreck fest in 19turn, great power though. Sunday, I won the B main in stock, the track only had a 77ft drive line, it took me awhile to get it figured out but, also ran 19turn on that same track and finished in 2nd in the A main by inches, that was close for a 5 min race. Overall very satisfied with your motors, next stop St Rock, Canada next weekend where over 100 drivers have already signed up, should be a good one. Just a reminder, I need a 6 or 7 turn Mod for the weekend of 8-9 April and some stickers. Thank you, the motors are awesome keep up the good work and I hope your feeling better.
