Zig, no and no. They like the Tq compounds and the big class is stock. The track if you haven't been there before is as smooth as it gets. Maybe you can get some of your mod friends in the area to meet up with you there. Bill

Believe it or not Dave there are other tracks outside of "the middle of nowhere Macadoo P.A." lol. Fill up your ponykiller and try some out. This track is 1 hour closer for me than the strand (2.5) and lacks for nothing. I hate that there are only a few tracks and that most are barely staying afloat. I and a couple of my buddies try to frequent as many as we can because we love to race. The strand sounds like it has picked up since the surface was re-done and that is good news for those that choose to go there. For me though, its just to far and to be honest I feel Kranzels is more like what you will see at The Snowbirds. This time of the year all I here or read about is practice on a Birds type track. Is the strand remotely close to the birds size? Sounds like I'm throwing a stone at you but I'm not,,,,you ba$tard.lol Later

Kind of a long haul for you Frank but if your in the area or have access to a jet come on down. Right now stock is the only class running on a regular basis. Hopefully more classes get rolling and the head count goes up too.
I see your youngest brother has picked up right where he left off last carpet season. He's really a force in stock.

Had a fun day of racing yesterday. A good turnout of stock racers and I think there 1/18 trucks. I think there were seven of those little hornets out there tearing it up. I couldn't believe how fast they were. Truely a fun and affordable class. The track is fast and the A-main was clean and fast with the new mark for stock @ 62 in 4:03. Who's bad enough to crack that mark? If your going to the birds I think this track is the place to get dialed in.

I'm going to give Dave a call and see if we cant get a schedule set-up that wont conflict with other tracks. With Horsham running oval every other Sunday maybe we can alternate our support to Kranzels as well.

Merry Christmas everyone,Bill
