This is the only information from this movie, that I can find. Does anyone remember this? Where was it broadcasted? Was it on the networks or cable?
I never heard of this movie, until I bought the promo soundtrack, an it has no info at all.
I need help!

It aired in 1996 on UPN. It was written by TNG alum Melinda Snodgrass. It was about a team of cadets (or newly graduated crew), stranded somewhere, who were trying to rescue themselves. If I recall, all of the senior officers or instructors died during the accident that got them in trouble in the first place. The movie wasn't the worst I've seen, but it wasn't worth my time either.

Thanks for the info. Even the not so good reviews, I hope to see it.

I think Morgan Fairchild is in it.

I can think of worse ways to pass the time. Don't get me wrong: it's not awful. It doesn't deserve to be listed in the "Worst sci fi films" thread, but it wasn't great either. "OK" is a better description.

Also had Eva Habermann who played the original Zev Bellringer in Lexx.
And Ivan Sergei running around pouting like a spoilt brat.
Wasn't a bad flick. But wasn't great either...

Was a HUGE disappointment to me, as I am a big fan of her TV work (not just trek, she did good work on the Marlee Matlin show as well.) I have never seen her comment on STAR COMMAND but just have to figure that she was completely rewritten. It wasn't just badly made, it was pretty stupid as well, and that part just doesn't jive with what I've seen of her sensibilities, especially with respect to SF.
Her 1990 take on what a good SF space show would be (roughly, the crew of the NOSTROMO captained by Han Solo) was exactly my thinking at that time (still is), and it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Whedon read that quote way back when, since he managed in no small part to tackle it with Alien 4 and FF and SERENITY.
At a con back in 96, I asked Ms. Snodgrass about the movie. She said that she did it as a favor for someone, I don't remember who. The story was pretty much set, and the only thing she could do was damage control.
I believe that it was filmed in Germany. Sci-Fi and Fantasy modeler had an article on the making of the robot in the movie.
