Quick question, Ive tried searching and cant find the answer, but isnt there something you can rub on the windshield plastic to clear it up? I had to remove some paint/tampos on a freestanding windshield, and its kind of fogged over and Id like to clear it up. TIA guys

YB, the expensive way to remove the fog from that windshield would be to buy a bottle of Accu-View lens cleaner, scratch remover, found at wallet-mart near the vision center...It will run you around $15.
A cheaper alternative to try, "try"..Would be a product like Mop N' Glo or Future acrylic floor polish also found at wallet-mart in the house cleaning supplies at $5,I have used this with mixed results,it makes the glass clear but may "highlite" the scratches to a small degree.
Third and possibly the cheaper way to deal with this issue would be to find another donor casting and replace the fogged glass with a better one.
Finally if all those are beyond your liking..You could do the cheapest method, and cut some window glass from the blister of a HWs or other packaging.
Just some suggestions, hope one or all help you out.

Thanks for the ideas jeff. THats what I was lookin for. I'm gonna go pick some up tonight so I can give it a try. I would cut my own, but these are windshields off the JL broncos, so I wanted to be able to paint them the new color to match the body, but still be able to repaint everything to have more detail. Im hoping the mop n glo will work. Ill post me results back here.

Glad I could give you some ideas YB, I need to show you the JL Bronco I customized I filled in the door openings, and put a full top onto it, lift kit, stainless steel leafsprings, aluminum tube differentials, and of course a set of thoe ATV Mudders..I had to make a windshield frame from paperclip, and then cut BP plastic to fit..It turned out pretty good..Here's the only pic I could get to post here.
