I hope that someone from ROAR will read this and actually do something. I have been emailing for months with not one response to getting my line of Windtunnel Bodys sent in for approval. Now if roar cant even respond to an email Im sure not going to send body's all over the country not even knowing if they are going to the right place or if they will get looked at or sit in the box for months. Im not one to like to flame or be a stinker about things but I want some action on this. I should not have to go through what I have to get this done. I have emailed with Fred a couple of times and even he has done nothing to assist in this matter. I was told that my emails as of late to fred would be forwarded to someone else and still NOTHING. Someone please do their job as a ROAR official and contact me at MURDOCKRC@AOL.COM or 712-428-4679

Rob, I have checked my emails in the past year and I do not have any contact from you.

I am at 480-385-8946 (usually need to leave a message, its my cell and I rarely answer it while at work) or 480-699-4722 (home after 5:00 MST). My email is ROARPromotions@cox.net

If this is regarding body approvals, the technical director, Bob Ingersoll can be reached at roarrhi@aol.com and I will personally see to it that he gets your request. Also, I am in contact later today with Mike Queller, ROAR VP and I will mention to him this situation.

Dawn, I appreciate your commitment to coming on this page and at least responding to something, but I have not contacted you directly. I have sent Bob emails since August and not one response, so Im assuming it would do no good to send another one or send the bodies to him either. I have all the infomation you have linked. My concern is as mentioned in the first post. Why send bodies somewhere when they wont return an email? Im sure you understand

Rob - totally get that... and without getting into much stuff...

just send the bodies per that approval form to Bob. :)

I will personally reach Bob and Mike Queller regarding this situation.

well, I can explain the email address situation. If you sent it to SPDLN@aol.com - that is his business email and he closed it the other day to emails outside of his business. His role in ROAR just made a SIGNIFICANT change as of yesterday and he's trying to get his ducks in a row as well.

He is requesting ROAR business goes to MTQROAR@aol.com and I was only notified of that this morning.

As for the bodies, what address did you send to? I'll follow up for you.

Dawn, I got the email from the aol address and he has blocked any returns from my Murdockrc address. That is a big crock of you know what and Im getting very testy about this whole deal. I have never seen a more unorginized mess. People wont return emails, address on the forms are wrong, more than one official tells you to use the address on the forms (THAT ARE WRONG). I have tried to email Bob since August to verify the address and let him know of the situation with my buy out of bolink. I felt like that was the right thing to do so that everyone was on the same page and knew what was going on. But instead I get nothing but a run around. Now Dawn after you and Fred tell me to use the form address, I finally gave up and sent the bodies to the address on the form to finally attempt to get something done and now someone tells me it is wrong and we will update the website as soon as possible. Now you know why I was trying to verify everything and make sure of where it needed to go. You other "officials" dont even know where to send things. And you expect me to figure it out. If those bodies are lost I expect nothing less than full compensation for them because of this mess that roar has going. I think there needs to be a HUGE shake up within. Or better yet, maybe ROAR should go back to being nothing more than a rule book. Im sure this wont be my last post regarding this matter

Rob - look, I understand what you are saying and believe me, I sent Mike Queller email yesterday asking him to contact you and look into this matter.

As for Bob not responding, I have no idea other than the fact he didn't do much responding to anybody in the last year due to issues at his day job. Excuses, I realize but that's the fact.

Yesterday, Mike took over the office of ROAR President due to the resignation of Rick Wilson. Up until yesterday, his SPDL email was open but he was forced to close it to ROAR business and the Excomm was notified of this just this morning. He is not blocking any email from one person. He is only using MTQROAR@aol.com for ROAR business.

So, as I am asking you.. please, allow me to help you and relax a bit? There are things going on that I can't control but there is no way I'm spewing crap here. I cut and pasted your entire post that opened this thread and sent to Bob and Mike yesterday and requested they contact you. Since that time, well, things changed......

I want to help you and get your bodies on the list if they can be approved......

actually, I have three weeks and one day left of my position with the Excomm as I resigned effective Jan 1, 2006....

and you know what.. I'm beginning to not feel guilty about it anymore.

All I can do is my best but if you think I'm lying to you or giving you the run around, there is nothing I can do....although, sometimes a conversation on the phone helps settle things....

of which, I have attempted to use the number you posted in the opening lines.... no answer times three now. :)

The MTQROAR is the address that he has blocked me from. Nice to see everyone resigning. Could it be that you officials are fed up as well. In any event. Pat on the back to you Dawn for coming on the web pages and responding to the heat. That is big of you, but roar has got to straighten thing up. they are under so much fire and with just cause in most cases. Think about the drivers a little more and the expense and in return they may think a lot more of roar.

ok, so.. this is what I found out....


both Mike's emails are functioning fine. I have sent several emails from completely different email servers to both of his accounts and he received them. He requests the MTQROAR@aol.com be used for ROAR business.

The addresses on the forms are correct. I verified this personally with Mike Queller. The form clearly states they are to be sent to BOTH addresses - Bob and Matt.

His communication with you was to verify the addresses and is expecting to see the bodies any day now and you will be notified of their approval status.

Im aware of that Dawn but the person who should be communicating is still not. Poor representation in my book that I have to go to two or three people and get second hand information. Sorry to be harsh but this is still a mess. I think it is time to put people in place that care and will do the job that is assigned to them.

Rob - the people that are supposed to be doing the communicating are doing so. I do apologize if you do not agree with the method. ;) This thread was started as a "contact me" and I did and I followed up.

What is still a mess? Your bodies were received and they are being evaluated.

The mess is that I shouldnt have to go through 2 or 3 people to get something done or find out what is going on. In this case Bob should have let me know asap that he had them in his hands. Why cannot Bob simply drop an email or something to at have let me know that he had them. I stay on top of things and make sure that infomation is passed in a timely fashion and to the right people. I have a hard time dealing with around the corner info. Nevermind, I dont see anything changing.

Sure, Bob could have dropped you an email and in a perfect situation (not getting into his personal business here) he would have. Things happen, you know? Point being, you asked and the information was given to you as soon as you asked.

I do find it odd that you consider my relaying information to you as around the corner info but never mind about that.....

In this situation, the problem has been resolved and further critique of what shoulda, coulda or woulda happened really is irrelevant.

As soon as I find out about the approval process for your bodies, I'll let you know.

The new body has not been submitted yet Matt. It is just going into testing this coming weekend. I will be testing and re-testing if needed until we achieve the package we are looking for. I will not release this body until it is what we are after. You just cant spend the money or time and throw it out there and hope it works to some degree. With already having one of the best and biggest aero packages to choose from the goal is to get better. Stay tuned and Im sure pictures of the test body will be popping up soon.
