I am looking to get into 1/10 scale 4 - cell stock and 19 turn racing. I'm not sure what car to get. I will be racing on a flat oval. Just wondering if anyone has any Ideas on what to get. Last time I raced 1/10 scale, it was 6-cell and I was using a rc10lss. Alot has changed since then, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well as long as you dont fall in to a burning ring of fire lmao sorry I couldnt help myself on that one. But really the aggressor is the only way to go if you ask me they did win the oval masters with my friend Eric driving.

I would recommend the R.I.P Motorsports Undertaker. This car turns very well, and is very smooth. You can check then out @ www.ripmotorsports.com and you can get a great set-up on the undertaker thread for stock and 19turn. I have one of them and I mostly run 19turn but I do run a stock race here and there. I've had three cars this past year and this car rocks.

A car is a Car.......Just get the Associated L4, about 100.00 cheaper, unless you are looking to pay 100.00 for a BUNCH of useless adjustments that will just get you lost.....I personaly run a Silva X Factor, which is basically a L4

GO to where you are going to race and look and see what everyone else is racng with...... it's usualy best if you stick with what several others are racing that way if you need help some one on the same car can offer advise that helps........

Personaly i run a Hyperdrive Pro2 great reliable car plenty of parts tons of people are racing them everywhere..... But i plan to upgrade to the new Pro3......

I have been beaten by Custom Works, Associated, KSG, Hyperdrive, Silva, Maverick, Leading Edge, Rip and yes.... even Trinity cars. But as Billy said, strongly consider what the locals run. You'll get more help and parts that way. The car is a small part of the package. The setup guy and the guy behind the wheel are far more important.

I'll echo what some of the above post said, look at what is being run at YOUR local track,ALL these cars are fast,it really comes down to personal preference, your not paying for a bunch of useless adustments either, they all have their purpose. One suggestion I might like to make is, whichever car you choose give it a fair chance,I see a lot of guys, especially newer guys, change cars wayyyy to often. It takes some time to get used to a car, each brand of car takes a little something diffrent to make it work, and that takes time,I would run a car for at least a season before changing brands.I've been running a HD for about five years now,and really like the way they respond to changes.

I agree with Billy... Look with what the fast guy run and choose a car that you could receive help and tip for it at your track.

It's what I have done this year, I change my L4 for a KSG and with the help of the fast KSG driver at our track I improove a lot. It's not that the L4 is not a good car, it's because I could not have help to setup it well.

buy a used car, doesn't really matter which one, hyperdrive, ksg, l40/silva, rip, etc. just make sure it's in decent shape. go to the track practice and beat the walls done to you can run well. as your running look around at what is popular at the tracks your going to race, then buy a new car.

I haven't run stock in a couple of years...I built a CUSTOMWORKS slider, (with nothing special) and this weekend in the second round (second time on the track) placed it second on the grid against some VERY notiable drivers, and finished 2nd in the main.

So the car MUST be one awsome care  .

Lots of cars and lots of opinions. Make your selection based on the fact that you can get setup help at the track and make sure their are plenty of parts available at the track. Lots of good advise to your question. Good Luck racing.
