Ok, my urges couldnt be resisted and I wound up purchasing on eBay a 4 model set. All are Airfix, 1/72 scale. They are an OS2U Kingfisher (what I was origionaly looking for before winding up with 3 extras) an Avenger, a Dauntless and a helicopter (dont remember exactly what it was as I was transfixed on the other 3 models.)

NOW, surfing Squadron.com I find detail kits for the Kingfisher available specifically for this kit. But when I look for the Dauntless and Avenger parts I get detail kits made for Hasegawa kits. Since these models are all the same scale can the Hasegawa detail parts be used on the Airfix models? If not does anyone know where I can get detail kits for the Avenger and Dauntless?

Well, model kits by different companies are often radically different - especially, I would say, an ages-old Airfix kit and a much newer Hasegawa kit. All I can suggest it to buy the detail set and see! It's possible that SOME of the details will fit, even if all of them don't.
