Saturday DECEMBER 10th at the ENCINO VELODROME in Sunny Southern CALIFORNIA we'll have the final VELODROME event of the year.

The '05 Winterfest at the 'Drome will use a 4 lap qualifying method that will set up a single HEAT race to determine starting positions in the TRIPLE "A" main event.

Up to 20 cars per class will be run in the "A" Main format.

Entry fees $25.00 for the first class...additional classes will be $15.00

I am hearing that there will be a couple INSANE SPEED RUN cars on hand...

Oval 30 diehard VELODROME racers showed up for our first Winterfest @ the 'drome this past Saturday.

The incredible Southern California Weather was in the HIGH 70's for this event and set a PERFECT day of racing.

The format used a 4 lap single car qualifying to set the front row of the FIRST "A" Main along with the line up for 2 qualifying races (Sort of like a DAYTONA Twin 125's, except we only ran 25's)

We then used a Triple "A" main feature, starting each main as the previous main ended. Each MAIN event winner won an award, plus finishing points were awarded and the overall "CHAMPION" was also awarded.

The format seemed somewhat exciting...but I think I'll be sticking was "STANDARD" formats for a while...
