i hope this is'nt a dumb question, but i read on another discussion that a bad radio could cause you to slow down a bit, well for the last several months i have not had good speed, i always thought it was set up or maybe i just don't have it anymore, i have 2 of the old PCM1024 radios, seems like no matter what gear, motor, tires, i seem to run the same race after race, both stock or 19t, i have both a GTX and Quantam Pro speed control, both have been set up many times and still the same result, i get a light that shows full throttle, but just don't have that good "rip" you like to feel, i have'nt messed with the trottle expo on my radio, i've always had it on zero, i guess i'll just have to give it a try and try someones radio at the track and see if there is a difference, but can there be a problem with old radio ?? thanks, Brad.

Send it back and request futaba to replace the throttle pot.

I don't know if a radio has that much of an impact on your situation but it could. I do know that the speedos could have something to do with it. I had a GTX go bad and I lost 3 laps with it. I changed the speedo and got those laps back. How old are your speedos, and how old are your batteries? GP 3300 have a tendancy to fall off bad after about 15 runs. Just some other things to look into.

the GTX is new, only a couple weekends on it, the LRP is about a year old, batteries are good,

DK47, what is the throttle pot ?? if i understand it right, even if the light on the speed control shows full throttle, the "ramp" to get there may not be linear, is that correct ?? thanks
