Would you use the same set-up for a 1/12 scale stock as you would for a 1/10 scale stock? I have a 12L3O I'd like to run, was interested to see if i need to set it up any different than a 1/10 scale car. Thanks In advance.........

Start with the stock setup thats what i always do then go from there since both chassis are diffrent there will be a diffrence work with everthing you have stock front springs are sometimes good enuff watch the attuide of the car and dont go to heavy on the rear springs rember those cars are lighter and sometimes faster if the car pushes put the next hardest spring on the left front my newwest car all i did was change the rear springs and picked up 3 laps dont forget caster and camber the important to very fine tuning aids i was away for a few years but in that time my sence of the car has grown by leaps and bownds buy helping out on a dirt latemodel team and when you change rear springs try to use the same on both sides first

I'm guessing that you would also go with a little softer tire as well, or would the same compounds work that were used in 1/10th scale. On 1/10th Jaco the tire are Gray LF, Black RF, White LR, Gray RR on 1/12 would it be Double Pink Lf, Purple RF, Pink LR RR or White for a flat track.
I was looking to run 1/12 again, only to find Associated is discontinuing the 12L3 cars onroad and oval. It's too late to try and upgrade the 12LW oval chassis for a race this weekend but hope track starts running 1/12th scale oval with enough participation.

Usally I run a little harder RF then on my 1/10 cars. Say I run a purple RF 1/10 I would run a dbl. purple on the 1/12.1/12 cars seem to be more aggresive.
