Pigskin topic got me wondering what a lot of people must be thinking. Can the Colts finish all the way to join the Dolphins in the record books? I think Seattle has a shot. Just a feeling. Got home in time for the 3rd quarter of the Steeler game. Peyton and the guys have it together. Another thing was brought up during the game. Will they lay down their key players and risk a perfect season just to keep the team healthy for the big prize? I dont think so. Maybe the Bengals? Its a whole new season when the playoffs begin! May be another record setting year. Its gonna be fun to see how this plays out!

I don't know if they can do it but being in Indiana I'd love to see it!

The odds are greatly against it. In this day and age with the salary cap, injuries, travel...etc would dictate that it could not be done. That being said I think it is amazing that they are 11-0. They are one of the most complete teams that I can ever remember seeing.

I actually had hope for the Steelers until about the middle of the 3rd quarter. By then it was obvious that they didn't have it and the Colts were dominate. As for the Season, I vote no- Its just to hard to make it the whole season without a loss, someone will rise up and come along, but then again didn't Peyton break Marino's records. Not impossible but No.

No, i think they will occur their first lost against Jacksonville or Seattle. Regardless, they are the team to beat in the AFC and for the Super Bowl. Go Colts!

Dungy keeps repeating that the Super Bowl win is what he's after - if a perfect season happens, it would be nice. He has a history of yanking key players after a few series of plays in non-key games.
Manning dearly wants the Unbeaten Season.

If the '85 Bears can't do it the Colts sure can't. Head and shoulders a more complete team then the Colts and they lost. Colts have a great chance as long as it is a dome game and if they keep home field the chances are even greater but like some have mentioned I think Dungy rests up nicked up players, backs and maybe even Manning. Now, if they are undefeated and going into the last game it stays close i would bet you couldn't get Peyton out short of dyn-o-mite! A good team but until they win something they are just another Bills type team of the Jim Kelly era. IMHO
The question is....does ND really want to play tOSU in the Fiesta Bowl? Does ND even belong?

85 Bears were so awesome. I used to love to watch the defense play. I wish the Colts would do it because I get so tired of hearing the subject brought up every year.
