Rob, which one's the closest to the Hydra drive?
MURDOCKRC 12-01-2005, 03:23 PM I cant tell you for sure Pepe, this stuff is different so I dont know that there is any comparison. Plus there were 3 or 4 of the hydra drives and most were lighter than the shur lube.

Carpet Assasin 01-04-2006, 09:42 AM Hey guys,
Get ahold of the new shurlube. Or should I say the back on the market shurlube. HeHe. This stuff is awesome. I ran it for the first time last week and went over a lap faster than I have ever gone before. This stuff paired up with Robs tires is just plain awesome!!!! Give Rob a call or ask for it at your local hobby shop!!! Its the real deal. If you have any questions about which thickness you should use just fire away with questions we would love to help!!!
Thanks,
Mario
Team Murdock.
MARTIN 01-04-2006, 10:45 AM hey mario...thanks for letting me try out that shurlube last weekend..you were right that stuff is awesome.
wowracer1 01-04-2006, 11:56 AM 130 ft carpet "ozite" oval 1-2 is a sweeper and 3-4 is tight suggestions on which lube for kingpins running 4cell stock and 6 cell stock.
Thanks in advance..............
Carpet Assasin 01-04-2006, 05:40 PM I would start out with #3 on the LF and #4 on the RF. If the car seems like its " bouncy" in the front end, go 1 step up on the lube. That should be a good starting point. LMK how it goes....
Martin - Glad you liked it!!!

MURDOCKRC 01-04-2006, 07:08 PM Well said Mario. I usually tell everyone a good starting point is #3 or 4 on both sides and then adjust the feel your looking for accordingly. #4rf and #3 lf is a good choice. But as Mario mentioned, go by the feel of your car. If your track has bumps or a bump as one of mine does then go up to control the rebound or bounce. #5 on the right front works well if you have a small bump in the middle of a corner for example. Generally you want the LF to unload slightly faster on flat tracks. Banking you can use the same or even heavier on the left in many cases.
