Can anyone give me the scoop on all the variations of the Ertl 1968 Mustang 428CJ? I've been hunting around and from what I can gather there are these color variations: Blue, Red, White, and Gold. Am I missing any? I beleive they have only been released in the regular American Muscle line, but is there any variation in the amount of detail from one release to the next?

Thanks,

Was the Toys R Us version ( Made like a Drag Car ) something you include in your list ? It was red with black & white stripes & mags .

Actually. I wasn't including the racing series cars. I beleive there was a red one and a black one in the racing series. I am actually looking for the factory version in red. I think it may have been a hobby only version, but not sure.

Are they the stock 428CJ or the newer version with the goofy wheels? I think the red one I'm looking for was a hobby only version. It is red with a black C stripes on the sides and black stripe on the hood with stock wheels. I don't think they were available at TRU.

The Latest Word I Got,was Toys R Us Will No Longer Carry 1/18th Scale,
I Don't Know When, but According To The Diecast Reps, that Was What Was
Said.

I don't think TRU ever carried the red Stang pictured above. I beleive it was a "Hobby Store" only version.
