You may or may not know by now that Carolina R/C Speedway which was owned by Craig Prahl has now changed hands and names it is now called:

Carolina R/C Complex

It still features Paved Oval, Paved Touring Track, and a giant Offroad track.
The offroad track is closed at temporarily as there will be a major face lift made to it including hauling several truck loads of fresh dirt. There will also be more lighting and fencing installed around the track. There is discussion at this time about either putting in a inground sprinkler system versus several hose connections plumbed throughout the track to facilitate the corner marshals wetting areas of the track.

So at this time i am posting the Oval/TC schedule for 11/26/05 - 12/31/05

I have been to this track twice now and have had nothing but a great experience. The oval track is a lot of fun to drive and the people are very nice. I know we plan on going back and would recommend it to anyone.

Hello all!!
Yes we are working on the tracks at Carolina and I would like to say thanks to everyone that has came out and raced on the black top. We are still trying to get some dirt for the off road track, and get this track running again.

We have brought the spec 4 cell truck class back and have had some great racing with it. If you haven't seen the Road Carolina track (road course) You can see it at www.carolinarc.com and click on the track.

hope to see everyone soon.

for the oval class with 3800s, why the spec tires? if pro sportsman can run any tire why not that class. the reason i ask is im interested in coming over for this class, but the only spec tires i have are bsr spec radials. is this the spec tire you run? thanks

jmcdo28 This clas is called Super Spec which evolved from our 4 cell spec class where we ran ALL spec Motor, Tires, and Batteries.

Super Spec was using a "track pack" 3300s until the 3800s came out and everyone voted to go to open batteries(up to 3800).

Hope this answers your question and i want to extend an invitation to you to come race with us.

Saturday (new years eve) we had 10 cars in Super Spec and 9 finished the main.
