With Winter Warm-UP race being a great warm-up for the 2006 ROAR Carpet Oval Regional and Snowbirds the turn out is looking very positive.
Don't forget that the stock series winner will be taking home a brand new Hyperdrive Pro 3.
Things are very busy at Maximus with Christmas coming and the construction for additional pit space. Hopefully the additional pit space will be completed before the Winter Warm-Up, but definitely for the ROAR Regionals.
Our weekly racing had a great turn out last week. Re-confirming my positive outlook on the turn out for the Winter Warm-Up race and the ROAR Regionals.
If you have never raced at Maximus the Winter Warm-Up would a great excuse to give us a try.

Message from J Rod.
Oval practice Saturday, racing on Sunday.
hey Heath nobody runs laydown brushes. They are not roar legal and we have been running the stand-up brush rule for a couple of years. Roar has two sets of 19t rules, one for road course and one for oval. Oval only allowing stand-up brushes. I can say that if this is a open rule where they are allowed most guys will not run 19t. Mike

Mike - The only laydown motors that we allow are the C2. The only race we did not allow them at was the first SOS. I have yet to see many guys ever race with them.
You are correct that there is a separate oval rule for 19T and it states stand-up brushes only.
As of the first of the year we started to allow Trinity chrome/purple endbell motors. This would include the Trinity ultrabird.
Is there another motor that you are concerned about that I am missing.
Heath
no the problem is that a laydown brush is going to be better then the same motors that everyone else is all ready running. So all it tkaes is one person that runs them motors all the time and they will have an advantage over everyone else. Mike
ericsalvas 12-13-2005, 10:51 PM thanx heath...the main question...was...is this an ultrabird race...or can we run other stand up brushes motor....thanx for the info...we do have some c2's...but Steve will be running the motors i had last time by...see you sunday...Eric
Eric I think its any arcor 19 turn motor.
dancingd 12-14-2005, 07:37 PM Hey bojo..What-up??
Weapon 1 12-14-2005, 09:30 PM couple Questions' What is the name of the town or city the track is located.
What is the runline and what kind of carpet is it. Also is a High traction or low traction carpet.
Bill Johnson 12-14-2005, 10:26 PM http://www.teammaximus.com/
This will answer all your questions about the track..............
Except maybe for the runline part..............
Weapon 1 12-15-2005, 02:30 PM The website could not answer my questions.
the track is located in york maine, just north of kittery on route 95, exit 7. As far the track goes it is ozite, not sure about the run line guess around 130 or so. Mike
Mayhem 12-15-2005, 08:16 PM I would say the track is low- to medium bite with more front bite than rear.
It is a fast track with lots of room to pass and zero part breakage. The Hobby shop has anything you'll need (except paragon):)
scott law 12-16-2005, 09:52 AM Heath,
What time do you finish up with the race program tonight?
Think I might drive up tonight.
Later,
Lawman

MIKE VALENTINE 12-16-2005, 02:11 PM HEATH, thanks I'll be needing it again very soon with snowbirds comming up. Do you need any other cars built.
Racin Steve 12-16-2005, 02:46 PM Heath,
I won't be attending this one. To many other things going on this time of year.
:( I sure hope the real reason isn't that I'm attending this one and that I planned on showing you what Intellect 3800 power is up to ... ;)
The "Intellect vs Grepow" cage match is postponed ... I guess.
Steve.

MIKE VALENTINE 12-16-2005, 03:18 PM STEVE, Very funny, Cage match. You got to stop watching WWE, while your waiting for the matchers to finish. It shouldn't be any problem for you to beat me, the amount of time you spend on R/C compared to me.
PUF19 12-16-2005, 06:09 PM See you boys in the AM, oldtimer and I are heading out about 4:30 in the morn....
Nick
Bill Johnson 12-16-2005, 07:43 PM Same Here. We'll race to see who got's there first......... :p
