Question:
How much interest is there on this board to re-vitalize the RC2 Johnny Lightning Vintage Stock Cars from the Racing Legends series ?
List any preferences for Drivers or special cars.
What would be your buying preferences ?
Drivers / cars ...
At what price you would definity buy these cars ? Assume they would be promo type pieces not a standard JL line.

Hell yeah. Go look at my posting history. I'd buy them all in a heartbeat! Especially the Mopars! 1/24 would be nice! Circa 1950's-1980's Too many cars to list. They'd definitely be niche items. JL collectors are Musclecar people so I see they poo-poo the whole idea. Me on the other hand, was brought into JL by the Dragsters/Funnycar USA/Stockcar Legends series'.
I have yet to see a fully accurate 70's era 1/24 DODGE Charger Stock Car in diecast. The Action piece is really screwed up as far as proportions/body lines. In addition, theres's no 1966-67 CHARGER or any other 60's DODGE for that matter. Also there is no representation of a 1968-69 or 71-72 Plymouth Roadrunner. The DODGE Magnum has not been done nor has the 1980's DODGE Mirada or Chrysler Imperial of Buddy Arrington.
Pricing? In 1/24 they shouldn't cost much more than the current 1/24 JL's. I say bring it on!

I would buy just about any 70s era NASCAR stock cars provided they were at the same level of JL. I have three that I found once at Kay Bee (Waltrip's Gatorade, Yarbrough's First National City Traveler's and Hardees) , and they are among my favorites.

This is something I've been thinking about for a long time...
Driver/Car combinations I would love Johnny Lightning to come out with...
-1984 Terry Labonte/ #44 Piedmont Monte Carlo. Only ever released as 1/64 in the ultra-expensive and ultra-rare 30 Years of Champions Action set, and the 1/24 Action cars are incredibly rare.
-1955 Tim Flock/ #300 Mercury Outboards Chrysler. I once saw a Racing Champions 1/64 of this car on eBay (under the "Racing Champions Motorsports" line), but never since. Team Caliber released a '56 Tim Flock Chrysler, but that's not the year he won the championship.
-1966 David Pearson/ #6 Dodge Charger
-1950 Bill Rexford/ #60 Olds88
-1972 A.J. Foyt/ #21 Mercury Johnny Lightning came SOOOO close to this. They produced a Wood Bros. Mercury that would have been perfect, but put the wrong name on the sides. (Nothing against Donnie, but I'm a sucker for Daytona 500 winning cars)
-1978 Bobby Allison/ #15 Norris Ford Again, I'm a sucker for Daytona 500 winning cars.
This is my first post, and I'm sorry if I'm saying things that have been said before on other threads, I just saw this topic and had to post in it.

Depending on the detail between 10 to 20 dollars

I would gladly drop 8 to 12 bucks each for more VINTAGE Nascar rides! JL did a great job on the Stock Car Legends! I have most in a display case, but still need release #2...hint, hint! (Can you help a brother out?). I just wonder what the liscence fees would be like!

I only have six legends in total and would be all over some more, I can't even find the ones from before.
Anyone?, Anyone?
