Classic Hobbies, AKRON, OH. will be hosting the 2006 ARCOR Carpet Nationals, April 8-9th, 2006.
Classes will be 4C Spec NASTRUCK, Stock, 19T Modified, Open Modified and Classic Hobbies Busch class.
Friday night practice will end at 7:PM for the 2nd Running of the Classic Twinny Twin Twin.
Flyer for this race will be available shortly.
THE BAT 11-16-2005, 04:22 PM I just want to beat Erock to the first post on this thread.:p
Are you picking on Cupcake?;)
erock1331 11-16-2005, 05:11 PM come on now, lol
got my mind on the OvalMasters, lol
It's time to get serious guys, this race is already looking to be one of the best at Classic this year. Date: April 8-9th, 2006
There are a few changes for the ARCOR Carpet Nationals, not listed on the flyer.
Classic and ARCOR will be adding a brushless class for those interested. The basic rules will apply to this class. There must be paid 5 pre-entires tor this class to be ran.
MOTOR: Novak 4300 motor (part#3401)
ESC:
Limited to Novak Super Sport (part #3205) SS+ (part #1705) GTB (part #1710)
or LRP Sphere (part #80500)
BATTERIES:
4-cell Roar legal 3800mAh or less. (Includes IP3800, IB3800, and GP3700 cells)
Also if there is interest, 1/12th 19T Mod can be added to the class lineup. Minimum of 5 pre-entries.
In order for Walt to order the awards for each class, there must be 5 pre-entries in each class. This doesn't mean the class won't be ran, it just means there may not be an award on hand for the class.
Entry fee on race day is $60 for 1st class, $40 for each additional class. Pre entry is $50 for 1st class and $40 for second class. Pre entry deadline is MArch 25th. You can send you pre-entries to Classic or you can pre-enter using PAYPAL at ARCORorg@aol.com If your using PAYPAL, be sure to specifiy classes entering, freq. and personal if you have one. There is also a generic entry form on the ARCOR site that you may print out and use.
I have also been asked if a racer signs up for Stock, can they also run 19T Modified? Yes.
If you have any questions about the race, please feel free to ask..

I know I shouldnt even give this comment the time of day, but I am curious.
Have you ever ran an ARCOR race ?
I think ARCOR does a pretty good job for the racers.
I have been to every ARCOR carpet nats. Definately had a good time at each one of them.

as long as there are 5 pre-entries it is running.
erock: That's out of date too..I sent you the new full color version. Since ARCOR makes the flyers for the races, sometimes it's hard to keep up. Thank GOD for mindful people out there to bring these things to my attention!!!!!

kevjoh 02-08-2006, 01:18 PM Thank for (4300) fix.
I heard a few already planning
to run 4300bl. I'm thinking that
class will have a good turnout.
Getting closer.....can;t wait
Rickity Racer 02-13-2006, 01:01 PM Looking forward to this race. I've been to both of the ARCOR races and had a great time at each one. This one should be even better. I haven't seen brushless racing and will watch this class closely.
JeffPatch29 02-13-2006, 01:26 PM Is there going to be open practice on friday?
JeffPatch: Yes, there is open pratice Friday. 9AM unitl 7PM. Should be some open practice after the Twinny Twin Twin too. Depends how many are there and how Walt feels. Last year I think we got out of there around 9:30-10PM? It took about an hour to run the Twinny Twin Twin, including the half hour break between each race.
jsrocket13 02-14-2006, 05:24 PM Will you run a 1/12 stock or 19t at the race because I have a couple of friends that might come up if you do.

Hey Jimmy thanks for looking out for me. I will make the long road trip if we can get some more interest in a 12th scale class. Count me in, if we can get 2 more confirmed. We have 3 making the trip (Jimmy, Brian, Bill) and only need 2 more. If we can get 2 more people, I will preregister.
Thanks, and looking forward to a road trip
