I was needing information on a briggs 5hp model 135212. The only thing wrong with it is it is smoking pretty bad(blue smoke) but the oil isn't getting lower. I was wondering if anyone knew where some information on this model is on here. It has a steel sleeve in the bore. Not sure if it has a ball bearing in the front(flywheel) but it does has ball bearing on the pto end of the shaft.

owners, illustrated parts manuals can be found at the briggs website, just have your model number. not steel, but iron sleeve bore. I/C maybe? also some good stuff in the helpful links thread. have you put in a new breather to see if that may be the cause?
