well iv been doing alittle bit of reading into this subject and i have found that when N2O (commonly known as NOS) is injected into the intake it creates a cooling effect. also in the compression stroke when the mixture hits roughly 300 degrees C it breaks down into Nitrogen and Oxygen, the nitrogen from what iv heard controls the burn and the oxygen just acts as a oxident burning the fuel quicker. Also N2O is very stable at room temperature, it will not burn, or even act as an oxident, it will get you quite high tho!
my question is why havent racers and motorists injected just O2 into the motor?
Dangerous, no gains, dumb?
i am dieing to know
help me out before i try it and learn the hard way
