Wonderful topic!

I would LOVE to see ads from the first issue of Car Action back in 1986......interesting to see which companies are still around...

I've got some old RC magazines laying around and they're interesting to read through, to see who is still in business and those who have gone away.
People talk about the price of this hobby/sport but look at the costs back then. The Heathkit radio control system KITS back then were more than what we can buy a decent quality assembled system for today.
Wow, I had a Heathkit RC system way back in the late `70's. Their plant was right off I-94 going into Benton Harbor.

I have an enormous collection of RC magszines I would like to sell or even donate to someone who is organizing a museum devoted to RC cars. This collection is too large to ship and would have to be picked up at my home.:wave:
