I finished a conversion from a T-jet Jaguar to the Austin Powers Shaguar. Yeah Baby. Interior is a Jack Stinson Rocket Science interior kit.

The stripes were a pain!

Real nice, I'm sure there was quite a bit of time used duplicating those stripes!

Umm, was this before he started using his "mojo"? I don't see a byrd in the seat next to him... :D

Great job on the stripes. How many times did your eyes cross while you were painting them?

Thanks for the praise. Have you guys tried the 3M micropore tape (you can borrow this from a physician's office while waiting for the Dr.) ? It is fantastic, it gets in every space, you can stretch it a bit and you can see through it. When doing the red stripes on top of the white stripes, it would have been impossible without this tape. Like all tapes, you need to pull it off of the car right after spraying to prevent bleeding.
Next time you are waiting in the office, take a look at one of these rolls.

Racer X - I added layout photos to My Gallery.

Also here is a picture of you racing against your brother Speed! Racer X was made from a Chaparrel and the powerful Mach 5 from a McLaren Elva. plastic, bondo, etc. Your brother, Speed, won this race thanks to Pops supertuning efforts!

Jim,
I did one a few years back except I painted the blue over white which I had masked for the white stripes. Then with my trusty color printer made some home made red stripe decals and placed them centered over the white and came out nice. Only wished I'd taken a pic before I sent it off. Still your's looks good! I just don't have that amount of patience to try and paint like that anymore.

Jim....

Your track is AWESOME!!!!

Pretty sweet job on the SPeed Racer cars.I wish I could model even half as wel as some of you guys.

Seeing the Speed Racer car gave me an idea tho.I have a Hotwheels diecast car on my bench called the Second Wind, which is basically a ripoff of the SR car.
I checked the wheelbase, and lo and behold,it will be perfect to use for a lexan body for my G3 cars!!!! Im going to make a few later on with the vacuum forming machine I made last week.

Thanks for the idea!!!

That's really something!

I never thought of hacking the roof of a T-jet Jag. It looks quite good that way.
And the stripes? Well let's just say you can't go wrong doing a Union Jack.;)

Excellent work! Keep em' coming!

Cheers..
