we are trying to get some feedback for the race date. We are thinking first or second weekend in August. that way kids are not in school yet and people are not so tied up. We want to hear pros and cons though. we have to get it set so people can plan it in their schedules. we want this year to be a great turnout again so we need all the help and support we can get.

Glad to hear your trying to get the nationals. August anytime is fine. I think you will have a better chance at a great turnout that time of year.

First or second week of August sounds great. School hasn't started yet so Brittany can make it and Rob and I are not in the fields picking corn yet. We will be there if that's the time frame.

Shoot for the first week. I'll be there all week helping out. You can't get a better facility than Tony's. Tony does whatever it takes to make you feel at home. Hope you get to make it down Rob. Hope the guys that cooked those Ribs show up again!

August is good. Hot weather, not a whole lot of rain in that month. Great idea guys. For those who didn't make it to the NORRCA Nats., this place is first class, and first class people as well.

Slider,

I know,I know,I got a Pro 3 that I've been running at the away races, simply cause of parts availability,my maverick is every bit as fast as my pro 3,I really like both cars,I'm sure I will be going between the two and seeing how they run.

Last year we were running three greens and a blue on the RF, nets on the right, non nets on the left. This year may be different.

So far this year has proven to be a much better year for me at the track,I've gained a lot more confidence in the set up area and it's showing on the track, still not where I wanna be but a lot better than this time last year.My goal this year is to just get in the top half of the field.

It just depends on how stuck you like your car, some people can drive a car that is extremely free.Last years stock class winner was on three greens and a S blue RF Non -nets on the left and nets on the right,One key, is to decide on what your going to run and stick with it,start with a new set and let the tires set to the track, over the course of a couple of days they will get faster as they set in to the track.BMS was like this and this track seemed to be the same way last year,it was one of the lessons I learned last year "Don't tire tune, tune to the tires"

Pepe, might wanna hold off on that,ROAR for the past 3 yrs. has been handout tires.

The tires i Tq'd and finished 2nd in stock were
blue net S righ front
blue prolite L left front
Blue R net right rear
Greem L prolite left rear..

Rule of thumb with caps is the more they wear and the softer they get the faster they get.. The tires listed above were tires from the 04 nats..

and yes roar races are handout cap tires.. Im sure john will be down testing compounds to find a setup equal for every class..

Thanks for that info I just wanted to know for when I buy a set before the nats so I can get some practice on caps it's been three years since I have raced on caps.
