Anyone know wher I can locate some action type figures in HO scale for the track I am builing? Got the track down, patcking joints and gaps between the two sets (4 lane), and am ready to start on scenery. Will need some figures to fill in with. Found sitting figure and normal "fan" types. NEED some tire changers, jack man, gas man, etc. for the pits and around the track. Some flag men would also be nice. Thanks Ralf
It may take some searching, but the Tyco 40th anniversary cars had red, blue, and gold chrome cars with complete pit crew. And there are other Tyco cars that came with a crew. Hopefully some of the NASCAR buffs here can elaborate on these.

Any decent Model Train shop should have what you're looking for.

What kind of cars will you be running? Tjets are close to 1/72, modern Tycos, Tomys and Lifelikes close to 1/64. None are actually the HO train scale of 1/87. There's a company called Preiser that has a tremendous selection of stuff in 1/72 and 1/87, including mechanics like you're looking for. I know Umpfi's Slotbox has Preiser figures, but his site is all in German...

I think Walthers (model train supplies, walthers.com ) might sell the different scales, otherwise just google on preiser and figures and see if you can go from there. Incidentally, in the model railroading world, 1/64 scale is called S scale, so if you search that way you might get some hits too...
