Hi Guys,

I am new to this whole Oval R/C racing stuff, and I was just pondering what the best of the best motor is for a Monte Carlo body, I painted it myself and want it to look sleek and faassttt. If anyone can fill me in on the tricks of the trade, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is the Trinity Revenge of the Monster motor.

The Epic Roar stock is another good option but is more RPM-ish and will be harder to gear for someone new to oval racing.

Go to Lefthander rc's web site. They have all the stock motors that are the most popular. I would recommend Team 1 monster.

If you want a tuned version of a Monster I recommend Putnam. He goes above and beyond most tuners out there. Bushings broken in, hoods aligned, magnets zapped, comes with his Green and Blue brush setup, along with Red and Green springs.

Fast right outta the box.

You should check out KC Racing's stuff. I have been running their stuff for about 2 years now and not 1 complaint! Plus Kenny and Dawn are GREAT people to work with! You might want to check out their batteries also.
