Digging through my boxes and I found this complete set of Matchbox cars from 2000.

From a different angle, you can see better that all cars have the "Matchbox 2000" logo - Matchboxes attempt at chase cars. :thumbsup:

Somewhere I've got a box with the "50th Anniversary" and "Hero City" logo cars. Never did ever complete either of those sets.

How many Matchbox 2000 logo cars were made? Was it more of a gesture of being a chase car or were they really that hard to find?

I think there were 10K of each. It seemed like most cases had a couple. It was pretty difficult to make a complete set.

Very cool set. That someday just might be worth something to the right person.
