We are planning a few special things for our Thanksgiving Oval Challenge race on Nov 25th like t-shirts and food all included in the $20 entry fee . So if you are planning on attending the event and could let us know your shirt size that would help us out a lot .It will also help us to get pit space set up. If you do decide to come at the last minute that will not be a problem you will be taken care of. You can either post here --sign up at the track this Sat.

The flyer is up on the website www.triclone.net The only change is that we will be open at 8am instead of 9am as posted.

We thank you from the Midwest Triclone and don't forget lets have FUN you TURKEY"S :hat:

The racing has been awesome the last few weeks in ALL classes, and Dave J's food is still top notch. 19T, Brushless 4300, and Stock will all have some excellent drivers, and is looking like a great field in each class. This race will have a cash payout for the top few spots, and don't forget the turkey!!

See everyone on the 25th, doors open at 8 with 4 qualifiers and a main.

Aaah. I'm all rested up and the smell of paragon no longer lingers in my nose. What an event. More than a race, this was an event. The weather held down the attendance a bit but there was some fantastic racing on the track and a whole bunch of laughter in the pits. Where can you go and race all day, eat free ham, and beef sandwiches, barbeque chicken and free pizza for $20.00???? And door prizes on top of all that. Throw in the Triclone crew, Dennis( does he have the batteries?) Wachs, Bob Bendixen, Dave Hilpert and Dave(Mom,Head cook, concierge, custodian of trophies and all around good guy) Jansen and you have a perfect day.
Racing was close and T.Q es were passed back and forth all day except for brushless with Bob Wright owned. Cory Heft ended up with T.Q. in 19 turn and Wood pulled one out of his, well let's not go there, for the stock T.Q. Brian took the Cup T.Q and win. The qualifying all day was close and exciting. The mains are quite often a let down but this was not the case friday. B main stock had Hilpert and Hock battling back and forth the whole race with Hock taking the top spot in the end. They must have passed and repassed each other 20 times in 4 minutes.B main 19 turn had OX sniffing Jason for the middle of the race until he finally got past for the top spot.Jason pulled off before the end. A main stock has a little
jostling at the start which allowed Danny White to take the lead with Wood and Buddy 2nd and 3rd. Wood and Buddy battled with the advantage going to whoever hit their line better that lap.Perfectly matched cars. Buddy finally got by Wood with about a minute to go but Wood got back inside and they both spun to the infield. They took off in the same order, albiet with a short lap and resumed the battle. Wood gave it all he had but Buddy held him off. Danny drove a very smart race and it was a pleasure meeting another fun racer. Even if he is from someplace called I-O-Way. The 19 turn A main was Cory Heft all the way though there were some great individual races in that race as well. Thanks again to the Triclone crew and it was great seeing racers that I don't get to see very often like Mike Stiener and others. Next year it's 2 day event-mark your calendar.

Awesome event.. I was so upset to find out the food was almost gone when i went up by dave.. i went out to breakfast with my mommy, and wasnt hungry till late.. prolly better off for you guys LOL..

i had a blast racing, exept for the Bruce hexing me on this forum part.. i qialified 2nd to his first which he deserves and was due for.. i wish the main could have been better.. never free up a car without practice LOL.. but buddy and bruce put on a great show.. i pulled of and watched, and was so awe struck i must have hit the throttle while watching and my car mysteriously wandered out of the infeild and into the drive line.. great eyes by the marshals. that would have sucked if ida wrecked someone..

WOW! That was uncalled for.

That was pretty harsh Burbs..............it's a pretty common fact that if you win or TQ your on here in a matter of seconds on numerous threads posting results. I assumed since the results weren't posted right away you didn't TQ or win. It really is that simple. Just calling it like I see it.

Heck if I won or not I at least posted results right away. Maybe that is why people don't like me?

Oh and todays spelling lesson: It isn't weezle, it's W-E-A-S-L-E.

Later bro.

Actually I DIDN't mention any names at all? I didn't even make reference to a person, persons, event, or events.

So why would you think I was bashing you? Guilty conscious?

So why was I bashed by you again?

OK here's my idea. "The Final Throwdown".

We will set up a heat race at the Cheesehead. You two get to duke it out, if you both show?? Last one running wins!!

It'll be Burbey & The Dude, head-to-head. I'll throw in Ted just to make things interesting...

burbs
11-28-2005, 02:55 PM
well if i say i would show you can count on me being there.. But the other one says he will show all the time, and never does.. i dont think we will be able to make any sort of plans for this type of race..

burbs
11-28-2005, 02:57 PM
Ohh can we punch on the the drivers stand to?? and have you run around the track in a dress, while marshaling?? we could see if you could stomp all three cars..

burbs

whip cream is fine.. with your size, i figured a dress would fit like a tutu... An actual tutu would look like a??? Never mind i dont want to go there..

If people want to hash it out, create a forum for razzle and dazzle.
The name of the forum is about the race.

We should be discussing ways to help the race next year, things to do, ways to bring new racers to the track, ways to steal off road racers away from that other track. After all, The Leftover classis was a JW race wasnt it?
