a few weeks ago my brother was using the computer and he turned off the computer right in the middle of something and now every time that i try turning it out it tells me COMPUTER _______ HAS FAILED PLEASE RUN SETUP AGAIN (I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT IT SAID AFTER COMPUTER). i tried turning it on in SAFE MODE but it tells me that the password provided is incorrect :confused: what password :confused: i don't know what it is talking about :confused: can anybody help me.

You will need to do a few things. but to make it easier put the setup cd that the computer came with into the cdrom and reboot the computer boot to cdrom and run setup.. when the computer asks you what to do run a repair. no a new install if you run a new install it will delete all of your saved info.
