 I have been trying for a while to figure out what this is and somebody directed me here. Do any of you pan experts know? It is pretty small, possibly 1/12 scale.:freak:

No doubt that is a delta car. doesnt appear to be the spider but an earlier version. The spider had the planitary diff. Heck of a car in its day that is for sure.

You posted that on another site, my guess was an early CRC chassis or someone's hybid. Rear pod was a GPM one piece pod, T-plate a Corally, chassis was the 12L and front beam was Cobra or Advanced Designs. What kinda gives some clue was the antenna mount early CRC cars used that and used the floating pod.

It could be a Delta Super Phaser, but the motor pod looks strange.

I think Highroller may be closest on the variety of parts used. I was a Team Delta racer throuhout the early 80s. This does not look like a Delta car that I've ever seen. The Delta cars had a one piece pod but this ain't it. I raced all their 1/12 cars up to triple shocks and this predates triple shocks, so I'm sure this isn't a Delta car. The body posts look very much like Deltas though. Call Ken Campbell at Delta...he'll know for sure.
