..... Need some input from yous folks. We have just secured a sculptor to work with us on development of a new figure line for 1/64th scale vehicles. I have a rather extensive list of different venues and co-ordinating pieces but I am trying to rank them and see if I missed any potential pieces that should be considered.

What I am looking for is your input on what you think would be popular and worth sitting next to your collection, on your layout, what have you....

Woud like to keep ideas simple, please use the following:

Theme: _____________

You can copy it multiple times if the ideas strike you. We will compile as many as we can. I don't want to get everyone too excited yet, as these would be slated for a Late Spring 2006/early Summer 2006 release. Due to sculpting time, review, changes, production samples, actual production, etc.

Also gas station Items: Gas Pumps (Old like Markos' and newer style), tire racks, lifts, signs,oil can displays, etc...

Drag racing: Guy to clean slicks, officials, christmas tree, etc...

Theme: Gas station
Figures: gas pumps, oil racks, tool boxes, tools, air pump/hose, gas jockeys, front end guys, wheel changers, mechanics, fuel drums, tires/tire racks, candy/pop/cigarette vending machines, litter barrels.

Theme: Auto racing
Figures: much of the above, plus race drivers, marshals, flagmen, officials, fans (lots of fans - kids, chicks, guys, greasers, you name it), road cones, saw horses, hay bales, tire stacks.

Theme: Assorted
Figures: car/truck drivers, various pedestrians, people sitting on bus/park benches, workmen, car salesmen (old plaid sports jacket/white belt type, and the more recent white shirt, dark pants, bad moustache kind :tongue: ), beach bunnies and sunbathers :thumbsup: , kids on bikes, mail boxes, traffic lights, street signs, streetlights, billboards.

In short, car-related realism! I'd love an opportunity to find stuff like this and get into doing more dioramas and displays.

Theme: Cops and Tickets

Figures: A Cop giving a ticket and a guy standing with both his arms sticking straight out at his sides and his head tilted back. Maybe even one arm with his finger touching his nose like a DWI test.

Theme: Girls hitchhiking

Figures: 2 Girls in short skirts and halter tops with their thumbs out hitchhiking.

Theme: waiting for a bus
Figures: people in various poses - standing and sitting, checking watch, reading newspaper

Theme: car show girls
Figures: girls in various poses as you would see them at car shows

Theme: accident scene
Figures: injured pedestrian, cops surveying area, ambulance workers, paramedics, tow truck drivers, tipsy driver, people on stretcher

Theme: auto show room
Figures: receptionist, salespeople, customers, families with kids, stooping to look inside or under hood, car wash attendents

floor jacks, jack stands, 4-way tire wrench,air compresser,girls in string bikinis playing volley ball or laid out, girls on roller sctates serving food like the old root beer stands. and all the stuff the guys mentioned above.

Girls, and more girls. Sitting in car poses, leaning on car poses, knealing down poses, and more. :-)

I have a couple pics from there - don't want to make the exact pieces but will be along a few of the lines.

I have 24 sets picked out - not sure how quick or how much I can afford to do yet.

i got the pictures from walthers ,i buy my h.o.scale stuff from a local hobby shop that sell walthers products .good luck on your products 1/64 scale or s scale is hard to find
not very much around .you should do ok with it .

how about a street racing scene with people taking pictures and girls poses from variation of poses, two people kissing and cops giving tickets for raceing in the streets and coolers with small beer cans and pop cans or bottles and a couple of pitbull dogs on leases or chains in the back of trucks and maybe some coondogs and a hunter with a dog box in the back of his truck. and I would like to see some one make some coondogs standing on a tree and some posing on a bench for a bench show.yea I'm a country boy and I have coondogs.so something like this would make a great scene.I have more ideas but can't give them all away at once.

this will give you an idea of the little things like people and hydro poles
guard rails ,barrells and odd stuff that makes a mini diorama .
