I'm no stranger to the delays common in the die cast market. But I pre-ordered AND pre-paid for HR Wave 3 back in April. I was hoping someone could shed some light on what's taking JADA so long this time around. I know JADA can usually be pretty "skitso" about release dates, but this is ridiculous. Im pretty sure photos of the Wave 3 assortment were seen as early as February 05! What is up?
Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, back in April of 06.

I dont buy that. Nobueno Jae confirmed that they were already produced and only awaiting shipment to the states. This was back in Feb of 06. Could he be wrong? Yes, that I'll concede. But I'd also like to point out that there has been a steady run of 1/24 HR product since the Wave 3 1/64s were announced. Its possible that they've continued the line in that scale because the HRs in 1/24 do better at retail, but I doubt it. They're pretty pricey for a Jada product and seem to be produced in limited numbers.

Well, in this case I believe my eyes...............................
The most recent HR release (2007) in 1/24 was the 39 Master Deluxe. Its not my imagination.
Further more, I put more stock in what Jae says based on his friendly relationships with individuals at Jada. I don't think he's a liar.
