MIKE VALENTINE 10-31-2005, 09:17 AM NCFRC Putnam Propulsion green/blue combo will be your best choice.
Todd Putnam 10-31-2005, 09:44 AM Try our #EFB-180's with a 5/64 cavity or vertical slot...
burbs 10-31-2005, 05:02 PM blue green, or two greens is what they all use to run here..
NCFRC 12-08-2005, 10:49 PM What I've found for overal great performance is the ZAPP-19 brush sold by RC FOR LESS , I'm not sure if Bruce is just repackaging another brush or not , but they run better and hold up longer than a 767 .
They respond well to tribotech comm drops also.

rickster58 12-08-2005, 10:59 PM Do you find that tribotech comm drops soften the brush material? I know a lot of brush drops are petroleum based and soften the brush in addition to lubricating the comm a bit.

Billy W 12-08-2005, 11:07 PM I like the Finishline Brushes in those 19trn motors......
Worked great in the Ultr Bird 19trn which is basicly the same motor
Billy
NCFRC 12-09-2005, 09:32 AM Rickster ,
No , I didn't notice any softening of the brushes.
The Zapp-19 brushes are quite a bit harder than 767's as
we ran practice , 2 heats , and a feature and the serations
were still showing on the brush face . Purple springs.
We use the Tribotech on the motor brgs also.

Hilljack>> where can you get lightspeeds and not have to buy $50 worth of product to get them??? I tied to buy some stuff a while back and they would only ship if I bought $50+ worth of stuff... Is there a distributor or a shop that carries them???

Kenwood 12-27-2005, 10:32 PM No problem man...Ill get back with you guys next week.. I had heard very good things and wanted to try them...But I was like $50 worth of brushes would have been a bit much...LOL..
Mayhem 12-27-2005, 11:13 PM Matt, we used to run a stock laydown brush with double copper colored shunts from lightspeed around 10 years ago from lightspeed. Are they still available? They were a pretty good brush I would like to try them again if available. Thanks
Matt Bayless 12-27-2005, 11:20 PM Shane yes we still have those available would you like me to bring you some on the 14th?
Mayhem 12-27-2005, 11:27 PM Not Shane here but thanks for the offer! I see you are in Missouri, is Light speed still based in texas; mark lowrey?
Matt Bayless 12-27-2005, 11:29 PM Mark still owns lightspeed and still is in texas. Sorry about the name mistake. Shane is Mayhem racing.
NCFRC 12-28-2005, 12:28 AM Why lightspeeds ??..
Most power ?
long life ?
easy on comm.?
Whats the advantages over a reg 767 or trinity xxx ?
Matt Bayless 12-28-2005, 06:41 PM More power and rpm .
mcRacing 12-28-2005, 06:47 PM RIP 620's are the way to go with purple springs
Ah,Lightspeed 3400's in the old slot 2's,now that was some HP!!!!
NCFRC 12-29-2005, 12:12 AM zapp-19's are a very durable brush , little hard but make great power and last far longer than 767's, low comm wear vs grn +blues.
