battery charger went bad today . have to use a 15 min. timer for this weekend . anybody know how long to charge a 4 cell spec pack at 4 amps ?

Feel the pack as it charges. Once it gets to about 110 deg. stop the charging.

Do not walk away from it, I saw someone blow up a battery with a timer charger, not a pretty site. You can also put a meter on it and see the voltage drop. I personally would just not use, just get the right charger.

If you have a meter on the charger.. watch it peak and then when it falls about 1/2 amp you are done.
