Im a big fan of movie/tv cars. I try to only collect the ones that I have memories of. The Blues Brothers is one of my favorite movies and I was happy to recently add the bluesmobile to my collection.

I am looking forward to buying this car as well. My local hobby shop is going to get it in for me as soon as one of their wholesale suppliers get's it in.

How does the car look? Is it detailed? From the look of the picture, it looks well done. Also, is it really 1/18th scale or is a bit smaller then 1/18th scale but still marked that way for marketing reasons. Regardless of if it is correct 1/18th scale or not, I still love that car!! Also, how much did you pay for it?

The car is well detailed. The paint is faded and speckles of dirt cover the car. The only place these dont appear is where the windshield wipers would pass. The dash has stickers of food and cigarette butts. It even has a movable spotlight. I bought it off eBay for a total of 30 shipped and yes it appears to be 1/18 scale.

just got mine in today from RC2 (used my 50% off coupon and got it for 17.50)....the detailing is outstanding :thumbsup: ....now i gotta make a custom display for this oversized heep, not that a little dust accumulation would be noticed with all of the "weathering" this baby already has :p
