What a good number to have for end play for a stock motor ty later John

I use around 0.01-0.02" (equal to one thing motor shim)....

That is for stock motors, where you want to minimize friction contact with bushing face...

On Mod motors, as long as the shims are the small diameter ones that only contact the inner race, you can shim tighter. The small orion armature shaft o-rings are great for vibration free operation...
