I hate when this happens...
Dear eBay (http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-1606754-2202639)http://www.awltovhc.com/image-1606754-2202639 Community Member,
The bid that you entered for the item (xxxxxxxxxx) has been cancelled. You can view the reason provided for the cancellation by selecting the (bid history) link from the individual item page.
Regards,
eBay
The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing.
And I thought that I was going to get some good junk cheap too...:freak:

Pomfish 10-23-2005, 08:05 PM That is So Bogus, They should be Suspended for a week for wasting your time.
Epay sucks when it comes to protecting the buyer.
All they care about is listing fees and Fees in general.

Think about it.

I didn't see any mistakes in the listing... And up until the cancellation I was the only bidder. Of course my bid may have been the problem.

And remarkably enough the seller has re-listed the items with a higher starting bid.

It has happened to me and is annoying..Although if a Seller does it enough they can be investigated by Ebay, I believe.
I firmly believe you should only be allowed to cancel an auction early because of error in listing within the first 24 hours of the listing..I mean I look over my listings with a fine tooth comb to be sure I didn't mess them up. I find it hard to believe that as a seller it takes you a week to figure out you goofed....
ParkRNDL 10-24-2005, 04:29 PM okay that IS pretty annoying...

coach61 10-24-2005, 04:34 PM Now thats gotta be breaking the rules. You email and ask him hey isn't this the same crap ya cancelled last week at 9.99? What kind of scam is this? Maybe we all should do it let him know he is being discused by his potential customer base.

scott88gt 10-27-2005, 06:29 AM I haven't been stiffed yet on ePay, but this guy pulled a fast one on you. Ended the auction some two hours before close?? Gimme a break.
I am selling some stuff now, the reason I am selling is to get rid of it. I always do no reserve and let the market decide the value--its worked before for me. Someone is always "lurking" waiting to snipe and bid more anyhow.
T-jetjim 10-28-2005, 08:44 AM That sucks. Those contacts on the track pieces looked in excellent condition.
They can set a reserve or higher starting price, but to pull it off Ebay right before it ends is not fair. Secondly, with all the people that wait for the last minute bid, how does he know that he wouldn't hit his number anyway?

jester58 10-28-2005, 04:24 PM He must have found out that the turq lola with the butchered rear wells was worth more money. Frustrating is an understatement.
T-jetjim 10-28-2005, 06:18 PM If butchered lolas were as rare as that red snowmobile, then I would understand!
