Hello right now i have a Ae tc3 and a Ae t3 , the t3 is in pretty bad condition (it needs about $20 worth of parts) and the tc3 is in pretty good condition just needs like a $3 part. For eletronics i have 3 gp 3300 matched packs which have numbers like 1.18+ ,jr xs3,bluebird 621mg servo, and a broken ss5800 (have to send it in and get it fixed for $90) So far i like both cars but i sort of got bored of the tc3 and i have had a blast with the t3. It just is seeming that 1/10th might be too exspensive for me like $110 to get my cars running and after that i am not sure how much it is to maintain and take proper care of them.

1. so that my first question how exspensive is it to up keep 1 or 2 1/10th cars compared to 1/18th scale???
The next thing is that i want to race most likely 1/10th scale stock truck .
2.So how exspensive is it to race 1/10th and to stay racing compared to 1/18th?This is where the 1/18th comes in it looks to me as if the 1/18th cars are much less exspensive. Right now i would be considering selling all my 1/10th scale stuff except my radio and getting either a rc18t or a mini lst when it comes out (most likely a rc18t because i want to race)The only concern i have is that kind of terrain a rc18t can handle (ie 1/10th dirtracks, grass, dirt, jumps, gravle etc)
3.so how much terrain can a rc18t handle compared to a 1/10th scale such as a t3? and what you have seen of the mini lst is if it would handle those things better then the rc18t?

In conclusion ,do you think i should sell all my 1/10th scale stuff and go with 1/18th? If so about how much do you think i could sell all my stuff for except my radio?thanks peace ethan

Ugh, thats alot of questions. I will tell you this in the winter I race 18th scale truck and sedan and the cost of racing both of them is less than the cost of racing one 10th scale vehicle. You can get battery packs for about $12 each if you shop around, tires are much cheaper ($10 a set), speed 300 motors are much cheaper ($10), and you can use a small cheap 10th scale speed control ($50). They only weigh about 1lb so you can hit pretty hard before you break anything.

The one thing I don't do is take them outside because the truck is less than an inch off the ground, the sedan is about 1/8" off the ground.

I have raced about everything but I must say 18th scale is some of the most fun I have ever had on an indoor track.

what if i sold my tc3 and kept my t3 adn eletronics and saved for a rc18t i could use the rc118t for the winteer and then in the summer i could fix up my t3 .thansk ethan
