Does anyone know where I can find a Revell 1998 Pontiac Firebird RAM AIR for sale?

Does anyone know a collector that might have this?

Austin, You can find a few pop up on ebay. But the kit was pulled off the shelves early for some discrepancy. I believe it was a tire issue. SO the kits do command a bit higher price than one would think.
However, the new kit announcements will be coming out at noon and I do believe that Revell is re-issuing the 98 Firebird as a 2'n1 kit. SO if you can wait till around March or so it will be available again.
Although I am sure you'd like an opriginal issue. Your best bet would be the large auction site.

Really? Does revell have a web-site that says this or what, where can i find the list when it does come out?

Do you think they will make the 2002 firehawk too?

Austin, I have the list of cars coming out.
DO NOT EXPECT A FIREHAWK, EVER(at least from a model kit company). With models, licensing has gotten to be a real issue.
The only Firehawk available would be the 93-97 version in 1/20 scale from Lindberg.
The 98 Firebird By Revell will be available in March. IT's coming out as a 2'n1 kit, meaning it will have extra wheels and other various hop up parts, but no firehawk parts.
You should be able to find it at any well stocked hobby shop.

Do you think anyone would ever make a Firehawk? Or a Blackbird? Someone has to, its worth buying the rights b/c it would make so much money, they'd be the only ones selling it.

I agree Austin, but the cars were so limited that only the real enthusiasts know about them. Why I have even talked to people who didn't know they had 1LE cars. Crazy world.
So, NO FIREHAWKS, and NO BLACKBIRDS.
The kit will be plastic 1/25 scale and the price will be approximately $15.25, give or take a few dollars either way.

thats a fair price, thanks for the info.

I guess I need to find an artist to make a few customs for me.

I made a Non-Ram Air 1999 trans am, and it just about killed me.

I think Im going to try to find someone to make me a Firehawk and a SLP HO as well as a Mecham.

The blackbird I can do.

No box art yet, but just a picture of the model mock up:

Now Austin, before you go on a rampage about the wheels, please note this is a 2'n1 kit. Meaning that it will have some custom parts as well as the stock parts.
So, yes, the wheels are incorrect, however you will be able to build this as a stock Firebird Trans Am.
Still scheduled for release in March of 2006.
I'll keep you updated if and when I see the new box art thoguh.

That is awesome. But the model will be all white Im guessing. Wheels are not my favorite but its time for something new.

Austin, most of the Revell models come out molded in white. Which I give them big kudos for. Just easier to paint.
I do offer a building service if you are interested.
As son as I get more info to post on the car I'll dig this thread out.

Im going to try to make it myself. I am also going to put a box up for collection. And Im going to make a Drag Slot car out of one.
Oh and also make one with big slicks and wheelie bars for fun.

And probably more things once I think of it.

So I will need a few of these. Wonder If I could order a case of them?

You can buy a case through Hobby Heaven. I believe case sales get 10% off.
