Ben Snider 01-04-2006, 10:14 AM I'm planning on coming down on Friday the 6th. Are you getting enough stock pan cars to make a race? I will also bring my truck just in case, but I understand you run foams on the trucks. Are there any for sale at the track. See ya Fri. Benny squeeker138 01-05-2006, 04:34 AM Yes there are pan cars running 4-6 /wk. most are runnung 6 cell. But Butch Bebee has been running 4 cell competively against them. The trucks class is still the biggest with 2 heats of stock trucks and a heat of 19t. There is an on site hobby shop with foams for sale. If you need directions go to there site @ www.statelinerc.com Patrick Stateline R/C 01-09-2006, 05:13 PM thanks to all the racers that made this week our biggest yet! this week we had 45 racers which was awsome. hope everyone keeps comming back. we had 6 heats of trucks, 1 heat of touring cars a pan car heat, 1 heat of 18th scale trucks and a WILD heat of FIGURE-8 racing. Anyonme interested in comming out we are racing on fri eve. at 7:00 every week. Ben Snider 01-10-2006, 12:09 PM I had a great time Friday even if I was getting passed so fast by 6 cell pan cars to my 4 cell. Butch must be running 2 volt batteries. I'm digging out a different car this week that I can fit big batteries in, I probably won't be able to hang onto a rocket but it will be interesting. Seeya Friday. Benny hydroracer 01-10-2006, 12:24 PM what classes are you guys running in the pan car? you say 6-cell and 4-cell, but what motors in each class (stock, 19T, mod?)? Ben Snider 01-10-2006, 07:02 PM Pan cars are running stock motors with 6-cell only. This appears to be about the same as a 19 turn 4-cell except you have the extra weight of the other two cells, sooo you don't want to wreck because the extra weight will really raise havoc. However if there were 4 cars (I think) to make a different class, say 4-cell stock, I'm sure they would go for it. Ben Stateline R/C 01-11-2006, 12:22 PM butch was winning with 4 cells and a stock motor. :freak: go figure :drunk: squeeker138 01-15-2006, 06:37 AM There was plenty of action this week with 50+ entries. Ben Snider 01-15-2006, 08:24 PM This week I tried running a 6-cell pan. Man does it pick up a car, but in my case it sure is a hand full. If you just get touched you can be in the fence so fast. I got within 4 or 5 laps of Butch (63) but again he just put the hurt on us. Great running at Stateline, and they run the show as quick as they can. See ya next week Ben squeeker138 01-16-2006, 05:11 AM Good, I'll see you then . Stateline R/C 01-18-2006, 04:28 PM WEEK 3 in the points series this friday night, bring them on its not to late! radioflyer 01-19-2006, 03:27 PM I don't have any 6-cell stuff left, so can I race my 4-cell 4300 brushless in the 6-cell pan car class? 4300 is the stock motor in the brushless world! I would also be running the standard nascar body, not some outlaw body! Thanks Stateline R/C 01-19-2006, 04:46 PM im not sure if that would be much of a race? Stateline R/C 01-19-2006, 04:48 PM if its compairable thats fine. everyone is running stock poss a 19 would be closer? radioflyer 01-19-2006, 07:46 PM Actually I think my 19t is a little faster! Stateline R/C 01-20-2006, 09:07 AM bring it down and we will check it out, we can get you in a class somewhere Stateline R/C 01-23-2006, 11:00 AM awsome turn out again this week thanks to all who came!! sorry it got over so late we will try to do better this week. I think the count was 55 all together. WOW Ben Snider 01-23-2006, 08:41 PM Great time and good racing Friday night. I tried running with Butch in the pan car class. He was running 4 cell 19t and I had 6 cell stock. I could run up on him but he has the talent for going around the bend. As to radioflyer wanting to run brushless, the class seems to be a little open and we need more pan cars, so I say come on down and have some fun. Ben Stateline R/C 01-25-2006, 12:16 PM butch and ben were pretty close on lap times and speed so you can run a 4 cell 19 turn or a 6 cell stock. Stateline R/C 01-25-2006, 12:17 PM bring it on down there flyer we will get ya in! :dude: Stateline R/C 01-26-2006, 01:01 PM hey pat check out the new video on the opening page  Stateline R/C 01-26-2006, 04:26 PM www.statelinerc.com JonHobbies 01-26-2006, 10:09 PM Let me know when you have a good class of stock 4-cell pan cars. Last time I was there I had to run 4-cell stock with 6-cell stock didnt have a chance. I dont know to many people who run 6-cells in an oval cars. Maybe you guys just do things different in indana. I still had a blast when I was there. Ben Snider 01-27-2006, 10:34 AM I agree that pan cars should be 4 cell. Last week I ran 6 cell stock. This week I'm going to try 4 cell 19T (should be about the same speed minus my inability to drive). Right now there arn't enough pan cars running to setup two classes. If there were 8 or 10 cars there could be a 4 cell stock and mod open class. Just need more cars. Ben Stateline R/C 01-27-2006, 05:00 PM Thank you Ben thats the point exactly! :freak: we just need a few more pan cars that want to race to split them up. most of us have 15 year old cars anyway. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
