View Full Version : Allen's (Rochester, IL) Oct 29th Kick-off Classic
Sonny B 10-17-2005, 07:34 PM Allens R/C in Rochester, IL (Springfield area) will be hosting the Oval Kick-Off Classic on Saturday Oct 29th.
Featured classes will be:
4 Cell Stock (ROAR legal 27T)
4 Cell Brushless ( Novak 4300 any ESC)
4 Cell 19T (ROAR legal 19T)
Payout to the top 5 in the above classes in the form of Allen’s Gift Certificates.
Entry Fee is $20 ($8 of every entry goes to the payout)
Doors open at 8:30am racing begins at 2pm.
3 Heats and a main (8 cars in the A)
Allen just put down new CRC carpet so the track should be very fast this season.

Shaping up to be a good race, sounds like MK and the St. Louis crew will be their along with a racers from Wisconsin and Iowa. Hope to see you their.
Sonny, we're trying to decide if we can make it and still run Sunday at Vinton, have you got any idea what time the race might be over?

AJ we plan to run heats on the hour so I think we should be finished by 7pm.

I agree with Mark, what a nice place and nice people, some really good racing. I will definately be back and I even got a look at the dirt track and will also be sure and make it over for some dirt oval action.
Good food very, well stocked hobby shop.
Charlie and agree we both had a great time and enjoyed our time with Allen, his wife and of course Sonny Brown.
Mike, I was very pleased that you were finally able to finish ahead of me and even by more than .04 of a second LOL.
